“Lovely house in great location”
Reviewed 5 August 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We stayed for a week but would have loved more time as there is so much to do in the area. We had a young baby with us and Ann Marie was very helpful and provided a high chair and cot with blankets, linen and also toys! The house was very clean and homely with everything we could think of provided.
We found it so handy to have the national park a stroll across the road where we could walk the baby in the buggy. There are also two hotels on the door step and this was very handy for lunches and dinners.
The wifi was excellent and meant we had something to do in the evening time.
Thanks for the wonderful stay. We hope to come back again!

“Perfect for young families”
Reviewed 31 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We were on holiday with three small children. This house has everything. Kitchen has every appliance and cooking utensil you can think of. Ann Marie had even provided games, books and DVDs as well as a lovely basket of goodies for our arrival. There was a hot press full of spare towels and bed linen if required. The house was spotless too which is great when a wee toddler is exploring. Great location near Killarney town centre but on the road out to Torc Waterfall, Gap of Dungloe, Ladies View, Ross Castle, Muckross Estate etc. Ann Marie had left lots of brochures in the house which was so helpful. We used the pool in Gleneagles Hotel most mornings (at a special rate because of where we were staying). So much to do. Top picks for us - hiring bikes next to the holiday village and taking the really safe cycle path all the way out to the Torc Waterfall through the Muckross Estate and visiting the Muckross Traditional Farm. Our kids really wanted a jaunting car ride but we put them off because we didn't think our youngest would sit for it and had read they can be quite expensive. At the farm there was a jaunting car ride around the farm included in the price and it was just the right amount of time. Great family holiday and I would certainly recommend this house! Thank you Ann Marie and Liam.

“Thoroughly Enjoyable”

We arrived just after Christmas in the middle of a torrential rain period, and yet this home provided the warmth and room to make a great stay. The location is perfect as you are just outside of town and right on the border of the park. Killarney is a beautiful place, don't forget to stop at Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle, Muckross House, Saint Mary's, Killarney Brewery, and the Village..all with in 5 mi. The townhouse is two levels, spacious with room for all. There is a wonderful fireplace, three comfortable bedrooms and two clean and well equipped baths. I recommend this for your stay in Killarney.

“Delightful, Comfortable, Modern Home in Quiet Location close to Killarney Town”
Reviewed 21 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We had a three day stay at Ann Marie's lovely home; it was a delightful respite to kick start our holiday plans to cover several parts of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Booking our stay was efficient; directions to the house made it easy to find and Ann Marie was there to meet us, orient us to the property and share advice for eating out, entertainment and tourist trips.

The house was situated in a modern townhouse complex on the outskirts of Killarney town; easy to access with plentiful parking space and interior courtyard green space (though we had no young children it looked a good spot for little ones to play). The home itself was comfortable and welcoming; the bottom floor had a reasonably spacious entrance hall and bright and spacious combined living-dining-kitchen area; the seating was comfortable with cable television as well as WiFi and a selection of movies & books for entertainment. The kitchen was modern, spotless and well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and washer/drier as well as pots. pans, dishes and glasses.

The three bedrooms were bright and welcoming; beds were comfortable and drawers and wardrobes provided lots of storage space; the modern bathrooms (one downstairs and one master ensuite) were also spotless with plenty of towels.

We didn't do too much in Killarney itself (only because of time constrictions) but enjoyed a drive on the Dingle Peninsula and part of the Ring of Kerry one day and in the Bantry Bay area another; we did enjoy a lovely walk from the house through Killarney National Park to Muckross House; we also stopped briefly at Ross Castle as we were leaving - just wished we had more time to spend there. We had a nice meal at the restaurant adjacent to the property and regretted not having enough time to sample Ann Marie's other recommendations for eating (we did have enjoyable meals in Dingle and Kenmare as we traveled about).

Ann Marie provided a welcoming basket of goodies; a thoughtful gesture which we greatly appreciated. There was a small store at the nearby petrol (gas) station - close enough to walk - and Ann Marie's information folder gave directions for larger shopping needs.

We have used many vacation rentals around the world and this is one of the best - enhanced by the attention and welcome from an exceptionally kind host. Though our travel plans this time dictated touring from place to place, we would recommend this Killarney setting, and especially this home, as an ideal base for visiting the South/South West of Ireland

“Lovely holiday home in great location”
Reviewed 22 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We stayed for a week in August. Booking was straightforward and Ann-Marie was flexible given our late-ish arrival. The house was clean and comfortable, well stocked with essentials like toilet rolls and washing-up liquid/dishwasher tablets etc, as well as some welcoming edible treats. The house is very easy to find coming out from Killarney on the Ring of Kerry. Access to the National Park is close-by, and there are plenty of places to hire bikes so you can cycle around the park. There's a small shop at the petrol station just up the road, with plenty of larger supermarkets in the town and a small M&S. There's also a cinema in the centre of Killarney. We flew into Kerry, picked up our hire car, and only a 30 minute drive to the house - all so very easy. We took a few day trips to drive around the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Penisula and Beara Penisula - scenery was lovely. We ate out a couple of times at the Lake Hotel - a short walk across the road and down to the lakeside - treated to a fine sunset one night, and local musicians play later in the evening. Another favourite was the short boat trip across from Ross Castle to Innisfallen Island. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable week, with a wonderful base in Ann-Marie's holiday home.

Reviewed 24 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Second year running to stay with Annmarie and once again after a long drive to beautiful killarney the goodies left for us meant we didn't need to leave the house that evening:-)house was spotless and being so centrally located near bustling town centre is a big plus for this holiday home. We will return, killarney and indeed co. Kerry as a whole has so much to offer.
