“Good layout, beautiful setting”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

The course is struggling as a business but the fairways and greens are well maintained. For air travellers, this course hire out clubs and trolleys, 15 Euros and 2 Euros respectively. Delicious scones and pastries in the bar. There is a ruined castle by the 16th Green (Par 3) and 17th tee.Kerry mountains make a spectacular backdrop. Only 15 minutes from Killarney. Enjoy.

“Tough times - obvious!”
Reviewed 17 May 2013

Beaufort is good weather does not have an equal - and tough times have made for amazing value here.We played in horrendous conditions - rain, wind and hailstones in May.
While you can't hold the course accountable for bad weather - there was serious flooding between tees and very poor directional signage.Greens in very poor condition .
To be fair, staff offered other golfers in our company opportunity to return at reduced green fee given poor weather.
Staff trying their hardest in tough times - this course really needs good weather to be appreciated - and a bit of luck!

“Fantastic Day”
Reviewed 2 May 2013

Played Beaufort last week and the sun shined for the 18 holes !!! The course is as good as I've seen it in years and the scenery was spectacular. We finished our golf and headed to the club house for a well deserved pint and a bite to eat. We were met by a Helen in the bar/restaurant where she told us of her and her husband had taken over the running of the golf club. Helen has being in the catering trade before and her husband has over 25 years of ground care so both know what they are doing and it shows. We had the homade Potato and Leek Soup to start with fresh brown bread and then the homade lasagne and chips which was lovely. We will definitely be coming back for the warm welcome good food and hopefully good golf. All the best with your new venture Helen

“Fantastic course - best greens in Kerry”
Reviewed 28 August 2012

This course has by far the best greens in Kerry at the moment. Especially considering the weather this year, the course is remarkably well drained. It's a beautifully situated course with spectacular views of Carrantouhil and the Kerry mountains.

Staff were friendly and greens fees were very reasonable. The clubhouse is a traditional looking stone building - beautiful in itself.

If you are in the Kerry region and looking for a friendly round of golf which will be challenging and enjoyable - look no further!!!
