I have played this great course 7/8 times now as a visitor with Kerry Seniors and with friends for fun and everytime have had a great day with a staff who are helpful providing good food , and friendly service
The course has a green keeper who loves his job providing true greens lovely fairways and fair punishment for bad shots
The stone ruins add a visual plus to a great par three
Nice course will go again and again 25 Euro

Went there in July when it was won of the hottest summers ireland has had for years only 25 euro to play 18 holes great value had to hit the ball 30 yards before the green to get on course plays lovely in the summer not so much in the winter fairways get very wet and find it hard to find ur ball cause always gets plugged over all a good course but will only play it hiring the summer

The course is struggling as a business but the fairways and greens are well maintained. For air travellers, this course hire out clubs and trolleys, 15 Euros and 2 Euros respectively. Delicious scones and pastries in the bar. There is a ruined castle by the 16th Green (Par 3) and 17th tee.Kerry mountains make a spectacular backdrop. Only 15 minutes from Killarney. Enjoy.

Beaufort is good weather does not have an equal - and tough times have made for amazing value here.We played in horrendous conditions - rain, wind and hailstones in May.
While you can't hold the course accountable for bad weather - there was serious flooding between tees and very poor directional signage.Greens in very poor condition .
To be fair, staff offered other golfers in our company opportunity to return at reduced green fee given poor weather.
Staff trying their hardest in tough times - this course really needs good weather to be appreciated - and a bit of luck!

Played Beaufort last week and the sun shined for the 18 holes !!! The course is as good as I've seen it in years and the scenery was spectacular. We finished our golf and headed to the club house for a well deserved pint and a bite to eat. We were met by a Helen in the bar/restaurant where she told us of her and her husband had taken over the running of the golf club. Helen has being in the catering trade before and her husband has over 25 years of ground care so both know what they are doing and it shows. We had the homade Potato and Leek Soup to start with fresh brown bread and then the homade lasagne and chips which was lovely. We will definitely be coming back for the warm welcome good food and hopefully good golf. All the best with your new venture Helen
