A good golf club with some lovely views, The course is a well maintained course with good sometimes challenging greens. There are a few hidden surprises on the way round and is well worth a visit.

“Great golf course”
Reviewed 4 August 2014 via mobile

This is the 2nd time I've played here and it's a credit to the Killarney area. On approaching each tee the course looks harmless enough but if you go wide at any stage it gives you a challenge. The greens are impeccable. The staff friendly and helpful. If your looking for a course that suits every type of golfer this would be it.

“Best Value Golf Course in the Killarney Area of County Kerry, Ireland”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

Great course in a spectacular setting. This was framed by the MacGillycuddy Reeks (Ireland's highest mountain range), including the famed Gap of Dunloe..There is even a ruined castle at the 16th Green (Par 3!).Played this demanding but fair course in mid-July 2014 in glorious weather. Reflecting the dedication of the green keeper, the greens were true, the fairways were in good shape and the rough properly punished wayward shots. The clubhouse staff were very helpful, including managing an excellent bar, which served delicious food!

Green fees were great value at EUR 30 and clubs and a trolley could be hired at EUR 15 and EUR 5 respectively. Golfers, who have played in all the golf course in the Killarney area rank the Beaufort Golf Course as # 1 in overall ivalue! An added advantage is that there is less pressure to keep to a tight schedule, compared to the more well-known golf courses, where a new foursome can hit off from the first tee every 7 minutes!
