My husband and I stayed for 3 nights on our honeymoon in Ireland in November 2013. Kathy was absolutely wonderful in helping us with directions for our daily adventures and great local suggestions for dinner. We would absolutely stay here again. Great starting point for Ring of Kerry and Gap of Dunloe. The whole area surrounding Killarney is idyllic. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Kathy was great, the house was very nice and very private. (We were the only ones there for the night we stayed). The breakfast the next morning was delicious and had an overall great experience. Had a great time and would stay there again.

We stayed there for 2 nights on our way to visit the Ring of Kerry and Skellig ring. Kathy and her husband were very gracious hosts. There was a lot of road construction on our visit that made it a little difficult to find. Her husband, Don, even went out of his way to actually escort us to their place. With our recent experience with bed and breakfast establishments, it has given me a new appreciation for this type of travel accommodations. Don even assisted me in clearing the frost from the car in the morning of our departure for the ring of Kerry. Now, that's why its called a bed and breakfast and not a hotel. Personal attendance to your needs without even asking for it makes a bed and breakfast stand out from the commercial hotel crowd. They've had this business since the 90's and their attendance to detail and hospitality are the two words I will leave with this place. Since we plan to revisit the ring of Kerry as we were not able to go through everything, we'll definitely be back here. Thank you so much Don and Kathy

We recently were guests at the Apple Croft house and since we only stayed one night we did not get to know our host well but Kathy seemed to truely love running a B & B. The place was beautiful and the room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was bountiful and there were many delicious options. I enjoyed playing ball with Eddie before we pulled out. If I ever get back I would live to stay here again and see more of the area.

We stay here for 2 nights in October 2013 just before Halloween. Can highly recommend this place to everybody. Very clean and large room (N5) with toys for small kids and books for school age children. Applecroft House is in very quiet place with good-sized garden. My kids enjoyed feeding hens and playing with Teddy.
Breakfasts were AMAZING with multiple options and even with special of the day.
Thanks Kathy!

Room Tip: Stayed in family room N5. I think it is the biggest room in a house. There are toys and books for ki...

We were delighted and thankful for this superb bed and breakfast! What a lovely and beautiful location! The grounds are so peaceful with lovely landscaping. We enjoyed the clean, comfortable, and spacious room. The breakfast room and delicious array of fine food were highlights of our road trip. Kathy was a perfect hostess - the meals, afternoon coffee in the sitting room, maps and suggestions for Killarney activities...all were freely shared and greatly appreciated. Thank you for making our two night stay so enjoyable! I highly recommend Applecroft House! It is a lovely place to enjoy this beautiful area of Ireland.

Room Tip: Kathy makes breakfast an experience to remember!
