Eileen provides a one of a kind experience. She is very peppy, and happy to do what she does. Super friendly! Bed linens were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, with a full irish breakfast personally catered. Home decor is up to date. RELAXING! come and go as you please. Wonderful restaurant/ pub right behind the B and B, and a 30 second walk away with a full dinner, and they also have bar food! it is a must stay kind of place. If you are in the area, it would be well worth your time to stay there!

Room Tip: Rooms are very clean and very nice, the bed linens were so nice and crisp and up to date that we wen...

Our hostess made us feel very welcome and directly advised us on activities we could do. We made an interesting excursion to Dingle. She was very friendly and helpful and prepared a wonderful breakfast, also for vegetarians! We liked our room in the back of the house, with a view on an appletree. If Ireland wouldn't be so far away from where we live (in the Netherlands) we certainly would come back!

We arrived at Denton B&B after a long day of travel and were welcomed by a wonderful hostess. Eileen pointed us in the direction of the nearest restaurant and gave us helpful hints as we began our trip around Ireland. The B&B was very comfortable, clean, and the Irish breakfast was great.

We were greeted with tea and biscuits, and made to feel immediately at home. Eileen arranged the perfect tour for us to the Dingle Peninsula, and John delivered us to a somewhat distant site (Blennerville) so we could take the lovely walk back. We enjoyed our breakfasts, having exactly what we wanted each morning. Eileen's enthusiasm for the area and her knowledge of what to do and where to eat was very helpful. Denton's is located right next door to a fine restaurant/tavern, so we were able to enjoy a good dinner upon our arrival late in the day. The location was an easy walk into town, and only seemed long if we were very tired.

Spent two weeks driving around Ireland (Nth. & Sth.) and choosing B&B's as we came upon them.
At Tralee, John's welcome, his afternoon tea with fresh plunger coffee & great conversation was the best we experienced and most appreciated! Smoked salmon was a choice given at breakfast by his wife Eileen and it was excellent. Their suggestion for eating out for dinner at the "Imperial" Hotel proved to be restaurant quality at a fair pub price. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Denton B&B for 5 nights, and Eileen, the hostess, gave us a long-stay discount. without us having to ask for it. She was very responsive and helpful when we were making bookings by email, and even offered to get tickets to the theatre for us before we got there. We had a nice quiet room in the back, away from the traffic noise. The room was small, but clean. The bathroom was very small, with a tiny shower stall that my 6 ft 3 husband struggled to move around in. There were no toiletries provided other than handsoap, so we had to pop into the nearest supermarket to buy shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. However, the hospitality of Eileen more than made up for that. Because we were staying so many days, she was afraid we might be tired of the same Irish breakfast everyday, so she alternated that with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The food was very nice, and she was very accommodating of our request to have breakfast as early as 7 am so we could go play golf. She even did our laundry for us for a token fee for the gas when we asked where we could get it done in town as it was a weekend and all the laundry shops would have been closed. Eileen was a star!

We stayed at the Denton B&B for one night in September based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. The location is a 10 minute walk out of the center of town, which is fine for us. The house is on a busy street, but we had a room in the back. The owner could not have been nicer - and was very flexible with her hearty breakfast.

The only complaint I have is that the bed is rock hard and the pillows are a bit flat.
