My husband, daughter, and I stayed in a triple ensuite room for two nights in August 2013. We were very happy with our accommodation. Eileen is a great hostess and does a wonderful job with breakfast. The shower, as another traveler mentioned, was quite small, and although it did not cause any of us trouble, would be cramped for a large person. Other than that one potential concern the home is a lovely place to stay. Our experience at Denton B&B was as advertised and we were entirely satisfied. We walked from the train station and it was a little further than we had thought it would be but not an unreasonable walk at all - about 10 minutes. Lovely spot.

Before booking, we checked the reviews on Trip Advisor for this B&B. Eileen is very personable and keeps an attractive and spotless establishment. She prepares a lovely breakfast spread in addition to a personalized one (she does ask what time you take breakfast so that she can devote some time to each guest - not at all unreasonable). The location is on a busy street but there is parking for guests in the front courtyard, so no problem. It is easy to walk into town and the hotel close by has an bar/restaurant which is quite good. This is a lovely place to stay.

We recently had the opportunity to have a fine room at this sweet B&B in Tralee. Greeted by the lovely Eileen Doherty with a cup of tea and treats after a long motorcycle ride across country, we were happily surprised by no surprise - our accomodations were everything expected from the website's description. And can that lady cook up a breakfast - wowie! We had the traditional Irish Breakfast one morning and the smoked salmon the other, both were wonderful, hearty, and served with style. We even had a rain-free afternoon of riding, and we're betting that Eileen had something to do with that, too!

Gratefully,

Unbeknownst to us, we were there on the final night of the Rose of Tralee Pageant. The town was lively and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Eileen was such a sweet person. You could tell she took great pride in her home. While it was not as big as some, it was pure perfection and good taste. Everything shined and sparkled, the decorating was flawless. The room, while somewhat small, lacked nothing. The shower, however, was very, very small and I wonder how a very large person might struggle to move around in it. I am not sure if they were all like that...ours was. The breakfast was fabulous....only one tiny concern....we did not get served coffee until our hot meal was ready. Each table was served completely before the next table was waited on. Of course you could get your cereal, fruit and juice right away, but no coffee/tea until your meal was prepared and served to you. As lovers of our first cup of coffee, this is something we did miss. Nevertheless, as I said it was a minor concern in the scheme of things. Eileen, your B & B was one of the highlights of our vacation.

Stayed for 5 nights of the Rose of Tralee. Location was great 10 to 15 mins walk to town, rooms were of standard size with beds more comfortable than anywhere i've stayed with lovely en suite, room cleaned everyday and towels changed everyday also, breakfast was gorgeous with lovely homemade brown bread, anything requested extra was never a problem overall would highly recommended to stay here

From the very first moment we arrived, Eileen was welcoming, helpful and made us feel at home.
Though our stay was short, it was wonderful. The rooms were gorgeous and clean. The breakfast was delicious, and Eileen made sure we had everything we needed while not being too pushy and giving us our space. There's also wifi. I strongly recommend dentons while staying in Tralee!

My wife & I spent 3 nights at Denton during a motoring tour or S.W.Ireland in June. We were made very welcome by Eileen our hostess after a tiring drive across Ireland during the day. She was helpful at suggesting places to eat out and places to visit. Full Irish breakfasts were the order of the day if wanted (could be managed!) and were as generous, even if not more so, as in the other three places we stayed. The nightly rate was very good and considerably cheaper than in Killarney yet being only about 20 miles away. Good private parking in house forecourt and there is a hotel restaurant only next door but one – useful if the weather is inclement!!
