“Good Irish Hospitality”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

I stayed at the hotel with my elderly mother. The staff were very attentive, the room was large, airy and had all the important add ons, tea & coffee, and importantly additional duvets and pillows just in case, you needed extra warmth!

Food and service were good. Lovely grounds, though the spa treatments were very expensive.
Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the second floor, I believe the rooms are bigger

This is a beautiful little hotel. We stayed for 2 nights for a mini spa break. It was beautiful with the use of the facilities. The staff very warm and friendly and were delighted to help us get a taxi to the town. The room was spacious warm and modern with a lovely view over the garden to the rear. The hotel bar and restaurant also keeps up the standard with the rest of the hotel very luxurious through out and was in the festive season. I would recommend a stay here if only for a night and dip a toe in the spa if possible :)

We stayed here recently for a family wedding. Faultless. The manager is friendly, professional and does a superb job. It is somewhat of a relief when you book a hotel and all works out well as I find it hit and miss when booking hotels in Ireland. Many have a four star title but are really three or less. It need to be consistent for guests. My only downside and its a personal choice is that I would like more buffet breakfast and less of choosing from the menu as I like to pick at bits and pieces. Congrats on a good job. also would love a pool.

We stayed for just one night in Ballygarry over the weekend. The hotel is very clean and room was very spacious. Service was top class, very friendly and efficient from beginning to end, especially the breakfast staff on the Sunday morning who could not have done more for us. Will definitely stay again.
