“Little Piece of Heaven on Earth”
Reviewed 10 March 2014

There is something very magical about Banna. Every direction you look there is something different to see. If main beach gets crowded, go to car park side of beach. No lifeguards at this end but great for picnics and walks. Feel sad every time I leave it !

“A majestic beach”
Reviewed 24 January 2014

In any weather, this is a wonderful place to visit. When the tide is out, it offers a refreshing walk with a great vista out towards the Dingle peninsula / Mt Brandon on one side and Kerryhead on the other. In fine weather, the beach car park can be pretty busy but it presents an excellent area for swimming and plenty of beach for kids to play.

The most enchanting aspect is the view that awaits you when you reach the end of the narrow road over a small brow between the sand dunes on the way to the car park.

“Banna Strand”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

Beautiful blue flag beach. I regularly walk to Barrow and back along with Tralee town park depending on suitable weather for each venue. I adore this beach in every way imaginable. There is Banna beach hotel 300 meters from the beach, It has over 100 holiday homes and health spa. As there has been huge investment in the tiger economy I believe it to be great value for money now. It would be hard to find a hotel as family friendly as it.
