We went there on the first days of our holidays and it is a lovely place for everyone. But the kids area was closed for repairs. We all just climbed over the fence and used it anyway. My thoughts were that it would be open if it was raining and closed on a scorcher.

A wonderful place to wander around. I am not sure, but believe the rose garden is considered part of the town park and if so, then double kudos! Absolutely gorgeous roses and other flowers. Very relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place.

A beautiful and peaceful area with easy access for all.Should the weather deteriorate, just pop across the road to Irish Tourist Office where the friendly staff will advise you of many other attractions nearby.

I loved the roses, we visited at the right time of year, when the roses were at there best, we had a dry few days, which helped the roses to look there best
The park looked clean and tidy

just off the town centre this lovely park has some really lovely features. The Rose of Tralee memorial used to be a lovely marble statue. This is now replaced by a beautiful bronze life size statue of Mary O'Connor (the Rose) and her Beau. This is surrounded by an array of glass panels inscribed in date order with the names of every single contestant at the Rose of Tralee festival since it started. Just a beautiful way to remember them all.
The park is just a lovely walk, and sometimes you'll find something of interest is happening there too
