“Comfortable.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2009

Stayed here one night while my husband was golfing. It was a cozy, comfortable room. A bit of a country decor. Beds were a little hard but OK. Shower curtain smelled a bit like mildew, but I am sensitive to smells! Otherwise, restaurant and breakfasts were great. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and updated. Free wi-fi. Free parking. Great place to stay a night!

Pleasant friendly staff and very good fish, I believe the owner has his own fishing fleet !

Within walking distance of railway station and town centre. We took a day trip by bus to Dingle for Regatta and saw Fungie, also took a day trip by train to Killarney and walked in the National Park.

Grand bedroom, clean and well supplied with the usual.

Not very dramatic on the outside but this hotel has probably the nicest rooms I have ever seen. Two double beds, chaise lounge, mini bar, bath and separate shower, hand painted wall paper. lots of small rooms to relax in (library etc). Nice restaurant , not too pricey. Staff helpful and friendly.

No gym or pool.

The hotel has excellent food, a good bar ( with live music). & Safe parking.

Just back from a six night stay here, originally booked 3 but stayed on! Package included 4 dinners, the food is gorgeous, some of the best food I have ever had. Staff are all friendly and helpful. I must admit that the time between ordering food and it arriving was a bit slow but I assume in this recession maybe the kitchen staff have had to be reduced but the food was well worth waiting for. The room was lovely I could not fault it, plenty of room, clean, everything you could want. The bathroom was roomy with a lovely long mirror excellant for doing make-up etc. I will definately be back! By the way I stayed here two years ago and loved it then too!

Travelled to Tralee from London with my husband and 3 sons aged 17, 14 and six years of age. We were met with a very warm welcome. The hotel is lovely and only a short walk from the town centre. We booked 2 rooms which were spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel is beautifully decorated and all the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We ate breakfast every morning in the restaurant we offers a great choice of cooked breakfast, breads, cereals +++. The staff in the restaurant were also very efficient and friendly. The hotel has a great restaurant and bar which also offers a great choice of bar food. We travel to Tralee each year and normally we book a self catering cottage. I will definitely go back to Meadowlands!
