We stayed at Rosquil for just one night but that was enough for us to realise that this is a very nice B and B run by really friendly and helpful people.
It has location, style, easy parking, great breakfasts and is more than reasonably priced for what you get.
Will happily recommend this B and B to fellow travellers

Room Tip: We had room number 5 which faced the back and was really nice and quiet.

We highly recommend this B&B. The room was large and very clean. The whole team makes a very professional impression. Nevertheless we felt warmly welcome. The breakfast was amazing!!!
We went to Kilkenny by car. Parking is easy at the B&B. Walking to the city center takes approx. 20 minutes.
Thanks for a very nice stay!

The hosts and room were great. Rhoda checked us into our room and got us settled. We arrived in the evening, so she gave us the lay of the town and pointed us in the direction of grabbing a bite to eat. It is a bit of a walk to town, but we didn't mind after being in the car all day. Parking was great. The family room was spacious, bright, and very clean. Breakfast made by Phil the next morning was delicious (he had great stories as well) - eggs made to order and a wonderful spread. Anyone who is homesick can have a visit with their dog, Lottie!

We have just finished a two week tour of Ireland staying in 8 different B&B’s, all priced between 60€ to 80€ / night. I want to start by saying that every single accommodation was more than adequate and I would certainly not put any of them below a 3 rating. One important point is that on-site parking was an essential requirement as we had a rental car. However they were certainly not all equal. I am rating them using the following categories?
Location: easy to find, but not close to tourist sites - it's a long walk into the city, but that's the penalty when you want secure parking
Room comfort: good, very nice sitting room if you are travelling with more than 2
Hosts: professional, provided maps and directions and rang a local hotel to see if we needed reservations (it was Good Friday and many pubs were shut)
Breakfast: good, but not the best I had in Ireland.

Our family of four stayed at Rosquill House for the Easter Weekend and were really impressed. The family room was fine and spacious. Service was excellent and we were served a really delicious breakfast in the morning. The owners were really helpful with any questions we asked. The location was ideal, just a short stroll from the town centre and a very cheap taxi fair on the way
home.
Rosquill Guest House is one of the best value for money places we have ever stayed in.

After a long overnight of traveling, we navigated our way from Dublin to Kilkenny. Upon recommendation from Tripadvisor, we found ourselves at the lovely Rosquil House. Phil was a gem, getting us set up in a bright twin room and pointing us in the direction of town, for a walk with all the highlights. One word...breakfast! Phil and Rhoda grow their own herbs, and Phil recommended a cheddar and chive omelet...it was simply delightful and very fresh! Phil was a great help with directions, and Lottie the dog made an appearance as well. My friend summed it up as we were leaving with 'everyone needs a Phil'!

Rosquil House is a lovely house with very friendly and welcoming owners. We spent one night there and we really liked the big room with the big bed, tea and biscuit. The bathroom was very clean and we also had an iron in our room.
Phil had very good tips for having dinner. And when we had breakfast in the morning we were very impressed. The breakfast was a dream.
