We stayed with Rosanne and John a few weeks and very much enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious the most of the B&B's we stayed at while in Ireland. It was a great location in downtown Kilkenny. Also very quiet. We felt it was clean and comfortable. We had a variety of different breakfast menus to choose from: Full Irish, Continental and one other. We have already recommended family members to stay here. Would stay here again for sure!

Rosanne Brennan welcomed us, and spent time directing us to sites we may wish to see, and restaurants/pubs we'd like to sample. The rooms were lovely, and clean and included a chocolate on our pillows--a little touch that makes a guest feel welcome. The breakfasts arrived hot and were most delicious.

Found this B+B after a very long drive and after trying numerous Hotels and B+B's, in the mainstreet, mainly being overpriced or not up to standard! Bregagh Guesthouse was just what we needed! It is Beautiful inside and out! The rooms are Gorgeous, couldn't get cleaner and believe me when I say that myself and my Family are very Fussy! The Lady of the House Roseanne was so Lovely and Welcoming, as was the rest of her Family. It was situated away from the Mainstreet, but near enough for having everything within short walking distance. Most importantly though was the Price. Travelling in a group of Four, needing two rooms, we found alot of places to be quite pricey. Bregagh was so reasonable, cheap if anything for what they offer you. I wish we had of known about this B+B before we tried everywhere else, so save urself time and effort and head straight to Bregagh Guesthouse, you will not be dissapointed! The best Home made Breakfast by far, so tasty, just what you need to keep you going for the day! We only stayed here one night, but this B+B totally stood out for us!

Roseanne must have been looking out the window for us, because she opened the door before we could knock and immediately made us feel welcome. You walk into the living room, not a front desk, because this is a family home. The room was very tidy and comfortable. Roseanne asked us about our Kilkenny interests and gave us a map she made, highlighting the places we would want to visit. Breakfast was in a beautiful sunroom--cooked to order. The scrambled eggs were the best I have ever eaten. It was a treat to stay here, not only because Roseanne and her family were so kind and accomodating, but because we felt more like a resident than a traveler. Kilkenny is also a wonderful town to explore--well maintained medieval town that has all the modern conveniences.
