You will not be disappointed if you ever get the chance to visit Bobby Byrne's in Limerick. We were there for a Family meal and could not say 1 bad word. Service , staff , food were all excellent.
A very relaxed atmosphere , no wonder my parents have been going here every Sunday.

“Great food, great beer, great atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

Bobby Byrne's is a great place to stop in for food, drink and company! We always stay nearby when we are in Limerick, so we have been coming here for years. And it keeps getting better. This last visit, we had an incredible dish with hake that was absolutely perfectly done (my 10 year old declared himself "in love with fish" after eating it--this is a kid who until recently only ate bread and plain pasta). They have a nice salad too, and their chicken goujons for kids is really good quality food (not the yucky factory-made stuff you often get). Lovely beers to choose from, and the friendliest staff you'd ever find. All in all, don't miss it. And it is walking distance from downtown limerick, which is always worth a visit.

Thank you for your recent review on Bobby Byrnes. We are delighted that you always pop into us on your visits to Limerick. I will pass on your lovely comments with regards to the service you received to all the service staff.

Mark our Head Chef will be delighted with the comments on the food. He takes a lot of time preparing a variety of nightly specials and we believe our little visitors are as important as our big visitors, so that is why all our goujons are prepared freshly in house.

Thanks again for your review and we look forward to welcoming you back again.

“Fun Bar and Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014

Bobby Byrnes Bar offers a large selection of beers and great food. We started with fried brie, which was delicious. My husband had their burger and I tried the bacon and buttered cabbage, both were very tasty. Our waitress was great and helped us choose a good local beer. They got pretty busy during dinner time, so make sure to plan accordingly. You won't go wrong choosing Bobby Byrnes Bar!

Thank you for your recent Trip Advisor Review, we were delighted to receive one from a Top Contributor. We really appreciated your lovely comments with regards to our food and beer selection, along with the comments of the service you received.

While dinner can get busy, you can always sit at the bar counter and sample some of our carft beers, over the past few months we have built up a great selection of Irish & International Craft Beers, there is plenty to choose from while you have a look at the bar food menu.
We loved the pictures that you included, so thank you once again for your review.

“Tapas in Ireland”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 June 2014

Having lived in bacon and cabbage Ireland of the 70s to come back and find gastro food pubs, and pubs advertising tapas was a slight culture shock I doubt the bars in Spain are serving bacon and cabbage. This was my favourite pub in Limerick, and the best of food, very good service and just a warm and fuzzy feeling, local people come here for a bite. Chili prawns, bacon wrapped black pudding, and best kind hake and "real" chips kept me going. Keep it up Bobby
