Positives : Nice hotel, very good rooms. The family 2 bed room suite was cleverly put together. The kitchenette was a great thing to have. Unlike most European hotels, this one was big. Liked the room. Staff were very helpful. Location close to Childers road, Raoxboro road, M7, N18, N19 and M20 is terrific and only 25 mins from Shannon airport. Ample parking space in front of the hotel. Close to shopping for groceries, pharmacy, fresh vegetables, petrol pump etc. Terrific health club Club Vitae and we had free access to that.

Negatives: Wish they cleaned up every day instead of once in 2 days.

We stayed one night in the hotel, and were amazed at the size of the suite we were given. It was genuinely big enough for a family of 6, with full kitchen facilities, two bathrooms. The customer service was above and beyond what we could possibly have expected. The hotel itself is very large, and the location isn't the best, but we didn't leave the hotel at all, and the facilities were fantastic. The pool and leisure centre were really good, and the dinner in the pub was great value and good decent sized portions. I'd definitely go back here again.

From the Minute i made the booking over the phone for a last minute break to the time we left, the staff here were fantastic, Nothing was too much of a problem for them. Facilities in the Leisure Centre were excellent, Leisure Staff, Bar Staff and Restuarant staff were so Helpful. Breakfast was a buffet of high standard which would satisfy the fussiest of eaters. Would defo come here again.

Room Tip: If travelling with a family, ask for a one bed suite, they are HUGE!!!!

I have recently spent 3 nights at this hotel but after reading other trip advisor comments i must admit i was rather apprehensive about going but i am so glad i did, The whole experience at the Maldron was excellent the whole hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast was lovely, beautifully cooked and presented very well, all the staff i came into contact with were very polite and very helpful, The hotel manager Mr, Pat Reddan spoke to us on several occasions and was a very polite and courteous gentleman, we also noticed that he seemed to be all over the hotel in reception, the dining room, walking the corridors to the rooms and also outside the hotel we felt that he had his finger very much on the pulse at the Maldron at all times. I would not hesitate in going back in fact i hope at some point in the future to do exactyl that. Well done to all the staff at the Maldron you should all be very proud of your hotel and thankyou

Stayed in the Maldron Hotel Limerick for 3 nights during 1st week of august. I have stayed in a few Quality (Now Maldron) Hotels previously and always found them to be quite good. I received a very
good value rate to stay and since i have never stayed in limerick before i was delighted to take up the offer. Staff were very polite and welcoming, and check in was quick and hassle free, room was on the 1st floor
and was easily accessible by lift or by going up a quick flight of stairs. Room was clean, warm and had a very nice small balcony overlooking the garden to the rear of the hotel which was a nice touch. Bar was fairly spacious, with adequate seating for a decent crowd and was supplemented with further seating off the main reception area, staff were friendly, engaging, and prompt.. And something which i find is a very nice touch is that on all
three nights once the member of staff knew what we were drinking our order was remembered and it only took a nod to get the next one. Breakfast was also excellent, plenty of everything in a buffet style as well
as the usual cold items such as fruits, Cereal etc. The leisure centre was very very nice, and i have to say it was possibly the warmest water in a swimming pool i have every come across in any hotel, and it was lovely! Far too often hotel swimming pools are just too cold, but this once was easy to get into and very difficult to get out off.. The changing rooms were very very clean, and again staff were polite and helpful. Food overall was also good, and portions were more than generous. Regardless of what people say the location is not an issue, we stayed in the hotel 2 out of three nights anyway, and on the 3rd night i went to visit a friend in the city and got a taxi for €6.50, and got a taxi back at approx 2:00am for around €10.00. Very much enjoyed my stay in limerick, would recommend the hotel and Limerick in general, lovely city lovely people, and great night life!!

While i cant remember all the names id like to say thanks to Eoin (Bar) Paul T. (Bar, Breakfast, Admin) and another dark haired girl who was in the bar on all three days who's name i didn't catch. You all made us
feel very much at home and would have no problem in recommending the hotel to anyone. And also thanks to Aishling Moore who looked after my booking! Cheers!!

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the garden at rear of hotel, nice little balconys.

+ customer service, room size, spa, free parking
- food, location, cleanliness

We used Maldrom for one night, had issue with the first room (No13), but it was very quickly sorted out by reception. There are no restaurants around so you have 2 choices: Stir Restaurant - it is over rated on Maldrom website,no a la carte menu , and the bar with not well done pub food.
Will not go there again.

Thank You for your review, I am glad that the issue you had with your first room was quickly rectified, unfortunately sometimes items get broken but once we are made aware of it we do try to fix the issue immediately. In relation to Stir Bistro on the ground floor, we do serve a Bar Menu there and also serve the Table D'hote Menu which is equivalent to our Restaurant menu and includes Restaurant Service. Hope to see you again soon
