We arrived on the early flight into Shannon and got to the hotel before virtually anyone in Limerick was awake. Fortunately Michael was at the front desk and gave us a hearty Irish greeting and sent us up to the restaurant where the staff was just getting ready for breakfast. Kathleen took care of us with some coffee, tea and a delicious Irish breakfast. We were then luckily able to check into our rooms (thank you, Jennifer), which were very comfortable. The bathroom had both a large tub and modern shower, which were used immediately.
After a nap, some members of our group went to play golf while we went sightseeing in nearby Adare. The staff was very helpful with arrangements for both. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was excellent. The hotel's location is a good one; close to the city center but in a little more quiet area. Only caveat was the view from the room, which was mediocre. But overall, a great choice.More
