A bit hidden away, and obscured behind a steep stairway - the food, and the service were excellent, and at a very reasonable price. Dont be put off by the first impression of the entrance.

This place is excellent as usual. Very nice and professional staff, we had the early bird menu which was a really good value. I would definitely recommend to go to this place if you like this type of cuisine. As a Indian food lover try all restaurant in limerick but Spice of India is the best.

Firstly let me state that the food and service was good, the food was very flavoursome and I enjoyed that element of the visit. What was wrong with this restaurant was the entrance it had two flights of stairs (no lift) and the carpet was very dirty, bad first impressions. On entering the main room it was quite dark which always make me suspicious as to why the darkness? I had one issue with the food and that was the quantity it was lacking throughout very small portions. The second issue was that I visited the restaurant on a Sunday with another couple I spotted an advertisenment on the entrance stating that you get a three course meal for €18.78, if you enter before 19:00 we entered at 17:00 now this might have equated for the small portions so I let this go but what transpired was that we were charged for each course separately which increased the total cost. My wife did not what to make an issue of this so I just paid the bill, my point is there are improvemenmts that can be made and this would make this restaurant very good.
