This is our second time staying at this hotel in Limerick.
This hotel has a perfect cost/location/quality mix
It is not the cheapest in limerick - it's a 5 minute walk away from the main shopping/night-life.
The rooms are not large - but what do you expect for this cost in this location?
Breakfast was lovely - freshly cooked - better than the breakfast we had in a Cork 4 star hotel the previous day. Our last visit included dinner which was simple but well executed. I noticed the dinner menu was still great value with many main courses around 10 euro.
Despite the cost, hotel/room was clean/well maintained. Free wifi is a plus.
I foolishly :-) ran down my car battery - but reception staff and especially Clem Guerin got me on the road again - great service.
PS - you do need to arrive in the afternoon if you want a free parking spot. Both visits, we arrived before 4pm and found free parking. spaces are limited to approx 10, so with 55 rooms -you do the maths.
So the summary for this hotel is "central value hotel - with good service" - made possible by an enthusiastic young staff who provide a great welcome.More
