Only stayed a couple of nights but no problems at all. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable and the free wi-fi available in the reception area was an added bonus. The attached eatery, Eddie Rockets, was a little different from what you usually get at budget hotels but if you like burgers and 50's style American diners then you'd feel right at home. Around 30-40 minutes walk into the centre of Limerick so no problem if you're fit and healthy, otherwise a bus from the nearby stop would be just the ticket. A short walk from a large Tesco's also provides the option for sandwiches, drinks and other essentials should you need them. All in all a pretty good choice.

Having stayed recently at a few disappointing Travelodges – we were concerned about booking another one.

The Travelodge on the Ennis Road Limerick is not without its faults, i.e. there is not a lift to the second floor but we booked a family room and it is was clean, friendly and had been recently updated.

Plenty of parking and there are internet facilities should you need them.

Was not overall keen on the next door American dinner – the food was very average.
So in summary we would stay again.

Just loved, so happy wih my choice to stay in this hotel. Very good location, Tesco just few minutes away. As I have little baby was offered a travel cot, even I didnt ask for it :-). The housekeeper was very helpfull, gave me a few extra pillows, more towels and again I said nothing about it. The receptionist lady was very kind. We all had very good sleep.
Will stay again soon!
Thank you!!!!

The entire working staff are Polish (which I have no problem with) but this causes somewhat of a language barrier which is unavoidable.

The first room we were put into had not been cleaned. There was a smell of smoke, the bed clothes were pulled out onto the floor, the sofa bed was upside-down and I won't even go into the gruesome details of the bathroom.

A polish friend in my party went downstairs to get us a clean room and returned a few moments later. The new room appeared nice and clean (albeit with a strange smell in the room) but being 3 lads on a night out we weren't too fussed. The next morning we found the cause of the odor was a pool of vomit underneath one of the beds from the last occupants. It's just disgusting.

There is a different between a budget hotel and a total kip, and this is by far the worst 'hotel' I've ever stayed in, simply awful.

The restaurant is an Eddie Rockets, which is a fast food diner and does nice food, but it is a bit expensive. At least you are almost guaranteed a decent meal if you eat there though.

This travelodge is on the outskirts of Limerick, but I knew exactly where it was when I booked it. It is a Travelodge so it is pretty basic but that is what a Travelodge is all about. It was in a central position for the areas of Ireland we wanted to visit. The rooms were clean and as I expect from a good Travelodge. We were a party of four and the receptionist kindly arranged rooms adjacent to each other. She was also very helpful in giving us the number of her dentist so that I could have emergency treatment. We stayed four nights and had booked well in advance so we felt it was excellent value. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask the staff they are very helpful
