We booked this as part of a vacation package which made a visit to Ireland affordable. With that said, I do wish we had invested a little more and gone with some B&B's. The location is good as it is not far from Shannon airport or Bunratty. It is easy to access the main roads without having to go into Limerick City. The Tesco supermarket and petrol station were easily walkable and we used them for food, fuel, and access to an ATM. An American style diner was attached to the motel. We ate there a couple of times, because we were too tired to drive elsewhere at the end of the first couple of days.

There are no toiletries except for one small bar of soap for the sink. You have to bring everything else with you. Twice, we had to request towels, because they were not replaced after the room cleaning. The website says that hair dryers are available on request, however they may or may not be available when you decide to do this. We had a problem with the outlets in our room. Even with the adapter, a small personal fan burned out immediately upon attempted use. Only one other outlet in the room worked with an adapter. None of the ones in the bathroom worked. The furniture seemed old and worn. Despite all of this, the biggest issue we had was noise. I do not blame this on the motel or staff per se, but it was an issue. We constantly heard doors slam, people liked to have conversations in the hallways and even outside the windows. This seemed to happen at all hours. The motel seems more like a transit location than a destination in itself. I guess most people who stay here either just got in or are preparing to fly out. You could use it as a base of exploration as we did, but I would recommend different accommodation and perhaps staying in those nice towns you really came here to see.

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights this week. It was a very good price but it's simple accommodation. On the whole it's clean and presentable. The rooms have comfortable beds and a few utilities but all minimalist. You're quite far from town really but there is a big tesco supermarket and some petrol stations opposite which is very handy. They don't have a restaurant but there is an American style diner attached which does brilliant food all day. The area was pretty quiet so even with both windows fully open at night you will sleep ok...until the morning when the traffic starts moving but then we were at the front of the hotel and perhaps at the rear you would be better off but with the windows closed a bit or shut your be fine. At the end of the day if you're looking for good value and you're not too fussy or expecting too much this place is more than adequate.

Plain hotel. no breakfast room, a Rockin' Joe's restaurant attached (was Eddie Rockets)... food okay, breakfast good. Staff disinterested mostly. Room fine and very, very clean but some fixtures and fittings damaged. Only two floors but no lifts. Lots of corridor walking!! Decent carpark that's free. Quiet location, close enough to the city.

The hotel is a bit shabby but had a reasonable price. There were no toiletries in the bathroom and it took some time to figure out, how the shower tab worked. The third bed is a sleeping couch which is not very comfortable. The bed was way to soft, a third cup was missing (in a rooom that is supposed to be use by three persons). Luckily we were able to use the free wifi in our room as we were situated near the reception. The employees weren't unfriendly but not very warm either.

My husband and I needed an overnight stay before a family wedding in Adare, so booked into the Travelodge in Limerick. We found the hotel just off the main Limerick to Galway motorway and was delighted with the easy access, free parking and friendly service we received. The room was spotless and large, with amble room for luggage, wedding present etc. A restaurant attached to the Travelodge provided us with good coffee and a lovely breakfast.
If you want a place to put your head down for a night, then check out the Travelodge. We have found that you can't beat therm.
