Recently stayed a night in the Radisson Limerick with my family. Everything from the service at check-in to breakfast the next morning was top class. All members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definately be returning soon. Keep up the good work!

We stayed here for 4 nights with our two boys. The hotel is well suited to families. Our room was large, with proper single beds for each of the boys (not a pull out double sofa, as is the case for many 'family' rooms). Room was clean and tidy, although showing some wear and tear in places. A hot breakfast was included in our rate - this was great value since there was plenty of choice for everyone. The hotel has a small kids room filled with some games, toys and a Wii, as well as a tennis court, and an indoor pool - so plenty to keep two boys occupied. The only drawback was that the pool was only available to children for certain hours. Also be aware that the hotel is a couple of miles out of Limerick, so no strolling into town for a meal - you need to get in your car to go anywhere.

Thank you very much for your glowing review on our hotel from your recent 4 night stay. We do pride ourselves on our Family Services as we place a big emphasis on making sure our little guests are as well looked after as our larger guests- our kids activity room is always well received. I do hope that you will return to us again.
Kind Regards

i booked this hotel and also booked into the spa for the bank holiday.. we arrived at the hotel for 1 o clock and where told the rooms where not ready..i was kinda expecting this as check in was at 2. myself and my partner went to use the thermal suite and pool to pass time...upon entering the thermal suite the smell of dirt and damp was disgusting, smelt like dirty socks.spent under 5 min in the thermal suite. went to outside hot tube it was ok, nothing to rave about. next we went to the pool water was FREEZING. it was nearly time for me to have my treatments so we left pool and my partner was heading up to the room!!! treatments where rushed therapist flew threw massage was the most rushed and unpleasant massage iv had..facial wasnt much better rough fast movements not one bit relaxing then for the scalp massage if you like someone playing with your hair then its for you...was not one bit relaxed after treatments.so i left the spa wound up thinking i was going to my room...wrong room still not ready found my partner still in lobby with our bags this was nearly 4 o clock i had oil in my hair had had a reservation to be at in limerick for 6..finally at 5 o clock we got a room. so far very unhappy with hotel. room was average curtain half hanging on to the window nothing fantastic about rooms...we lft hotel for the evening returned for drinks later bar was ok. next morning got up for breakfast around 9ish, buffet style...cold food FILTHY cutlery to get foot out of the hot plates..spoon for the beans was gone crusty, truly awful and so disgusting other cutlery the oil had gone hard on from the bacon etc...YUCK left hotel straight away after this hungry definitely will not be returning here again... pictures on this are misleading BEWARE!!!!!!

Room Tip: this hotel is a good distance from limerick city...€20.00 in a taxi

after having a horrible stay elsewhere we moved up the country came across the radisson have heard good stuff before so decided to ask for rooms now this was 8pm on a bank holiday sunday (i know we are lovley customers to have) the girl on reception was just lovely and so helpful we asked about dinner told us no room in the dining room due to a bus group but we could eat in the bar or she could reccommed somewhere for us we said bar food was fine. when we went in before we even ordered we were told 15-20 mins delay as kitchen was very busy. we said it was fine and would wait say exactly 15 mins later soup was brought and again apolised for delay soup was worth the wait lovely and lovley fresh bread. for mains which was very fast after soup we both had chicken just lovley and lovley creamy mash and piping hot (this was a problem in last place) we were offered drinks on the house for the delay earlier we refused as we were more than happy got our desserts and coffee and went to pay to find we had been given a discount on our meal since we had to wait. i was in shock way more than i expected. staff also very friendly and cant do enough to please. room was very nice and comfortable and clean. breakfast next morning while being self service was a great selection and plenty of staff checking food levels and topped up regularly so nice and hot and lovley coffee soon as we were seated. lovley staff on check out too. only fault i could find the shower in the room seemed to have a bit missing or something as the spray was kinda spitting rather than spraying the water made it bit harder to use but still very nice. we will be back witht hte kids later in the year. also lovley to see kids playground in the grounds nice to see hotle than is actually child friendly rather than just saying it

Rooms are in desperate need of refurbishing; tiles cracked, walls grubby, shower long past it's prime, etc. the spa is far more inviting, but the gym is small (but you expect that in hotels). Receptionist was very helpful, however, breakfast was a fiasco - prepare to be bullish & forget all etiquette as queuing or basic manners are not followed here. Finally, bring ear plugs as you need them if you're looking for a good night's sleep; had the pleasure of hearing my neighbours screaming & laughing at 3am in the hall. Won't be back!

Thank you for taking the time to write your review on our hotel and delighted that you felt our spa met your expectations and that reception was helpful to you. As you point out, the gym is relatively small, but it is rare that you would have to queue for a machine.
In relation to breakfast, we have a sign displayed asking people to wait for their server to seat them, however at times people do ignore this and it may seem disorganised. I checked our passover book and our Night staff were not alerted to any noise in the corridor on that occasion - if they were we would of course have gone up and asked your neighbours to keep the noise down.
I take all of your comments on board and they will be passed on to the relevant departments.
If there is anything in the future I can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact me directly - tom.shanahan@radissonblu.com.
