Hi OLENA12DUBLIN
Many thanks for your review and I hope you enjoyed the Cliffs of Moher.

We are working on a refurbishment plan at present as we have just exited receivership and have new owners who have given and undertaking to invest in our hotel as a whole.

We recently stayed here with a Trafalgar tour group. The exterior and lobby of the hotel are quite nice, but the rest of it is in need of updating. Our room was on the first floor, yet we had to go downstairs to access it. Our room was 'tired', and had two twin beds rather than a king. The view from our window was a gravel path and another building, so anyone walking along could have entered. It was quite warm during our stay, and the window had to stay open as there was no air conditioning in the room.

Wifi was spotty, and quite a challenge just to access it. Breakfast was included in our stay, but it was unremarkable.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor.

Great welcome from Anne Marie. Hotel busy with tours. Slow service in bar that evening but tasty food. Booked the drift away spa package. Treatments fantastic. Kimberley was so pleasant and understanding. Well done also Paula and Alan. Spa experience so relaxing. Upgrading needed in rooms. Curtains too short. Not good for light sleepers!! Bathroom spotless but also in need of refurb as does bar area. I understand group exiting receivership so look forward to returning to an updated Radisson in limerick in the future

Room Tip: Look for room with view away from service areas

Nice girlie place or for couples. It's just outside Limerick city and the staff are friendly and pleasant. The restaurant is nice but not the best of quality. The spa is lovely and the treatments were very reasonably priced. The facilities in the spa are lovely, wish we stayed longer!

It was chucking it down all day and we had been soaked when we were looking for somewhere to stop on the way to Galway. We rung the Radisson Blu after trying a few other places in Limerick town centre which were full, a young man called Paul answered the phone on reception, as we were still quite a bit South of Limerick l told him there was a possibility we might not turn up, any available B&B or hotel on the way would have definitely have looked very welcoming! Paul was very understanding and we eventually turned up as he was finishing his shift, his welcome and professional nature was very refreshing, l often find this missing in hotel reception staff especially late at night, he was a credit to the Hotel.

This hotel is very impressive in the lobby area but the remainder, including the rooms are in need of some much needed attention and a bit of investment. The floors is uneven in a few places, carpets are stained, walls scuffed and there is battered doors on rooms, but thats were the bad experience stops. The hotel is spotless, the staff are excellent from the cleaners to the waiting staff in the dining area. We all agreed that this Hotel had some of the best staff we had seen but unfortunately they hadn't the rooms to match their very good qualities. The rooms as such aren't worth their 100 euro plus price tag at the present time, l would probably say 50 to 60 would be the right price.

The breakfast was good and my overall experience of this hotel was very good, l will without doubt return when we are in the area. On leaving we had to clean our camping stuff and the staff couldn't do enough for us, l can't say enough for the staff at this hotel.

Stayed here for one night with Trafalgar Tours. This hotel has all the basics and is comfortable. Nicely decorated rooms, no complaints. I liked it very much and would recommend. Very good breakfast. The view from the room shows just how away from it all you are.

We returned to this hotel after two previous enjoyable stays however our third visit was not so lucky. In two years the hotel has become extremely run down. Carpets are torn, tiles are broken, walls badly need to be painted furniture needs replacing. We asked to change rooms as walls were all stained wallpaper torn and side of bath was all broken. Swimming pool area n hot tub has since become very grubby. Food in bar was nice however confusion over our bill n we were being overcharged by a substantial amount of money on departure. Our rooms were not cleaned til well into the evening. I had a spa treatment which was nice but I have had far better in salons n this is supposed to be a spa experience. Breakfast in the mornings was ok but exactly the same as our previous stay no change to food choice And loads of dirty tables. Staff overall were very nice and appeared to be short staffed in all departments. What I wonder is if all the visual parts of hotel are of poor standard what are the standards like behind closed doors.
