Description: You don’t need to go far to find a great Limerick restaurant, because on the first floor of the Absolute hotel you will find Harry’s which is as vibrant and diverse as Limerick City itself. Named after one of the city’s first entrepreneurs, Sir Harry Hartstonge. Only the finest quality regional produce is used including Ballyagran Salad Leaves from Co. Limerick and steaks from Enda Aherns, Co. Limerick. In fact, the beef can be traced right back to the field from which it came. Enjoy a fresh made to order lunch daily, served Mon to Fri 12.30pm-5.00pm, Saturday 1.00pm - 5.00pm or bring the whole family for Sunday lunch between 1.00-3.00pm, dinner 5.00pm - 9.30pm. Relaxed surroundings it is like no other you will find in Limerick City. The atmosphere is inviting, the food and drink lively. Harry's has a unique combination of indoor and outdoor dining with the bar flowing into the outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy alfresco dining overlooking the pretty Abbey River.

This was one of my favorite places we ate at in Southern Ireland. The food was fresh, well made and locally sourced. The kids menu had options beyond the usual grease festival. Also order the elderflower tonic and monkey 47 gin. Incredible. I had the carrot and coriander soup. Flavorful and light. My daughter had sea trout. It was perfectly cooked and yummy. My husband had risotto - which was pretty rich and creamy but still fantastic. You look out at the river and it’s a 10 minute walk from King Johns Castle, inside the Absolut hotel. Worth the money and side journey.

We were staying at the hotel so had breakfast here twice, both times we were seated straight away and the service and food were great. The only disappointment was Sunday, we had seen the menu showing Sunday roast and when we went to eat at 5pm we were told that the restaurant was shut and we could only eat from the limited bar menu, although the food was good it was just a little disappointing.

We ate here twice. Once for lunch and another time for breakfast. Both times took quite a long wait for us to get our food. The food was OK. The staff was very nice.

We ate dinner here during a stay in Limerick. Good selection on the menu and excellent value for a three course meal for two. Staff were pleasant. The food was tasty and portion sizes were good. I would revisit.
