This was one of my favorite places we ate at in Southern Ireland. The food was fresh, well made and locally sourced. The kids menu had options beyond the usual grease festival. Also order the elderflower tonic and monkey 47 gin. Incredible. I had the carrot and coriander soup. Flavorful and light. My daughter had sea trout. It was perfectly cooked and yummy. My husband had risotto - which was pretty rich and creamy but still fantastic. You look out at the river and it’s a 10 minute walk from King Johns Castle, inside the Absolut hotel. Worth the money and side journey.
