We managed to upgrade to a superior room, excellent value at just 10 euros per night.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is good value although the menu is somewhat limited. Breakfasts are plentiful and wholesome and provide a good start for the day.
The Spa is very relaxing and during our visit we were the only ones using it.
Will certainly recommend to friends!

Not that easy to locate if you're not familiar with the streets of Limerick. Handy do to get there map would be helpful. When we arrived outside the hotel, the car park was closed and we subsequently learned becuase it is so small it fills up quickly. Overflow car park across the street but again even though it was close, not that easy to drive to. Unfortunatley all of this created a negative first improession. surely a hotel should have adequate car parking for ALL of it's guests ? Checked in OK but couldn't get a table for dinner at the time we wanted to eat. The receptionist on-the-spot upgraded our room and this started to change our overall impression of the hotel. Room itself was good.
Views from the bar/restaurant are fantastic and are definitely the strong point of this hotel. The seats in the bar are actually uncomfortable and you find yourself wanting to get comfortable all the time. Bar service good. The following mornnig I asked at reception did a space come free in the car park and to my surprise was told there had. Surely the hotel should search out those guests that were obliged to park in the overflow car park and notify them of the spaces freed up ? Won't be coming back.

Room Tip: Complain.

Myself and my husband went to the Absolute Hotel for a romantic getaway and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is really nice, rooms modern and spacious, staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. There was a great buzz in the hotel bar and restaurant. I find some hotels too quiet. The food was excellent quality particularly the bar food. The restaurant menu could be a little more trendy to fit the surroundings but I believe this is under review. The room was so spacious I felt like I was in a suite.

I would definately recommend this hotel to friends..

Came across the Absolute Hotel when looking for a good deal for a girls weekend away. The offer sounded two good to be true at €160 each for 2 nigts B&B, dinner and a voucher towards the spa. When we got to the hotel to our superise it was lovely. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and walked us outside to give us directions and a clearer idea of where we were. The location is perfect for hitting the shops and the nightlife.

The spa was lovely and the staff were top notch but it did lack by not having a pool. Overall the stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend it as a base for a get away.

I stayed in the Absolute with friends having booked rooms through Lidl breaks. From start to finish the service provided was excellent. We had to change our booking at the last minute due to someone not being able to make it and they were extremely helpful in changing our booking from 2 twins to a triple room.

The only downpoint was that the car park is very small and was full when we arrived - the receptionist was helpful in outlining our options of parking on the street outside or paying for overflow parking over the road.
Check in was quick, the room was fabulous, overlooking the river with 2 single beds and a double sofa bed which was very comfy. Decor was lovely!
We spent the afternoon in the Thermal suite which was small but nice and very relaxing!
We followed this with a quick snack and drinks at the bar - despite the fact they were extremely busy with several large parties, service was again excellent and the food arrived quickly and hit the spot!!
And finally....breakfast was excellent - again, the staff were excellent and fairplay to the lady in the kitchen cooking things to order!! It was a great finish to a great stay!! I'll def stay here again and have already recommended to several friends!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the river.

Stayed here with some friends for a night away and had a ball. We happened upon a day where first communions and confirmations were plentiful so the bar was jammed on our arrival. Even still, our drinks and bar food were served promptly, and without any indication that the staff were under pressure.
We spent an hour relaxing in the thermal suite, it's small but it does the trick.
The staff couldn't have been more accommodating, service was fantastic throughout, rooms are lovely and breakfast was excellent.
