This is a really nice, modern (but not too modern) hotel. The communal areas and rooms are all tastefully decorated and while modern there is still some character to see.
We arrived late on a Friday and while sitting in the bar asked if we needed to book the restaurant as it was busy. Within minutes the barman was back to us to say he had reserved a window table for us and it was ready whenever we were...
The food in the restaurant was lovely, as was the service. It was no problem to change a few things and the set menu was great value at only 25euro for a three course meal.
The bar area itself was also nice and with comfortable couches/seats made for a great place to unwind on a Friday evening. Unfortunately due to the typical Irish weather we could not take advantage of the outdoor seating area but I can image on a sunny day sitting by the river is a great way to relax.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre where you can find many more restaurants/bars/places to see.
All in all a lovely weekend
