“Chic, Trendy with Great Location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

The Absolute was a great hotel. Very modern and well designed. It is in an excellent location that is within walking distance of all the local attractions, shopping, and dining. I will definitely stay there again when we return to Ireland. And the staff was very gracious and accommodating.

Stayed one night in Limerick. This hotel is in a good location, about a 10 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk to the thick of downtown. Also walking distance to King John's castle. Room was very clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Lots of space for three people. Bathroom was very clean. Everything worked, front desk staff was helpful, it was all good.

I arrived late due to travel hassles. A warm and friendly welcome at 23:10 was a very good start. Large rooms, excellent shower (but no bath). No noise issues.

Food really good, especially the scone I had right at the end of the stay which was as good as home made. So top marks to the chefs too.

If I had to stay in Limerick the Absolute would be top of my list of places to stay.

Had an overnight stay at this hotel last week. Very positive experience, hotel room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We booked a triple room, comprising of two single beds, and a fold out sofa bed, which my 11 year old slept comfortably on. As it rained on the evening of our stay, we decided to dine in the hotel restaurant. We didn't have a booking but the friendly matre' d was very accommodating. The food itself was delicious, the homemade burger was divine! All in all, this hotel is a great spot to stay while in Limerick!

Great room, nice view to the canal. Very clean.
Only negative point is that there was no curtains on shower which makes it hard not to have water all over the bathroom.
Good breakfast with lots of options.

Stayed for 2 nights over a bank holiday weekend. Rooms were nice, bright and clean. The glass door on the bathroom was a bit strange though. Good location, close to the city but not noisy at all. Good value for money. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat here.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for two nights. The hotel is very easy to find and is located a few minutes walk from o connell street. Parking is under neath the hotel but can only be accesed by buzzer which rings the front desk who then in turn open the gate (patience is needed as we had to walk into the hotel twice to have the gate opened).

Upon arrival we were greated by a receptionist who said that she would need approval from a deputy manager to allow me to pay in cash. In the end i had to give my visa card and drivers licence just for approval. I have stayed in several hotels and have never experienced this problem before.

The hotel is beautiful and the room we stayed in on the fifth floor is beautiful. The kings size bed was comfortable, the bathroom is large and the view of limerick city is outstanding.

We dined in the absolute restraunt both nights. The menu is extenstive and the food is delicious however the service we had was poor. We had the same waitress both nights. she was not welcoming and throughout both services we were basically given the cold shoulder. The only piece of real hospitality we saw was from the young barman who served us both nights.

Check out was quick and efficent.
This is a beautiful hotel that is extremly well furnished and facilties are high quality. Little services like vending and ice machienes at the end of each floor corridor make the diffrence. However the service throughout the hotel needs to be improved
