“Perfect stay”
Reviewed 9 February 2011

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. To begin there is secure free parking with limited spaces but we were lucky to get a space. It's a very modern hotel and located within walking distance of O’Connell Street, we got a taxi as the weather was really bad and it only cost €5. Staff on check in were very friendly and attentive, though there was a queue check in was completed in a matter of minutes. To use the lift you had to use your swipe card which I thought was a great idea as only guests could use. There was also a vending machine with loads of goodies, again a great idea and something I have not seen in a hotel. We were very impressed with our room, large and very beautifully decorated with tea/coffee/biscuits, black out curtains which was brilliant, a safe, internet access and movies, everything was thought of. Lovely bathroom too with a really big shower. We had a lovely meal in the hotel's restaurant. I must comment that we found the service excellent and it was obvious the Manager was keeping well on top of everything, she was very impressive and accommodated us by giving us something that was no on the menu. There was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and in the bar afterwards. We also availed of the spa, fabulous facial, thank you Shauna. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice but there was a big queue for toast so by the time I sat down my breakfast had gone a little cold, I don’t like buffet breakfasts anyway but this would not put me off this particular hotel. To be honest I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely stay there again.

Well kitted , comfortable and modern rooms
Amazing service from the staff , especially the check in folk - really pleasant and helpful
Good grub
Free parking

You really cant go wrong. Have never been let down to date. My hotel of choice in Limerick even over some of the more expensive ones !

Recently booked in to this hotel for a last minute visit to Limerick for a night out. On checking in the staff member was very friendly and welcoming giving us suggestions of differnt pubs and bars to sample limerick night life. The room was very spacious and well designed. Very modern theme loved the bed. Our room was at the back of the hotel which was perfectlt quiet as the council were working on the road outside the front of the hotel during the night but we were not distrurbed by this. Location in ideal as the hotel is within walking distance to O connell street. I would not walk at night to the city alone as it would be a bit quiet. I didn't get a chance to experience the spa or gym facilities but if they anything like the rest of the hotel i would be of the impression that they are of high quality. I will defintely be staying in this hotel next time i am visiting Limerick

Stayed here with a large group for a hen party, the rooms were lovely, modern&spacious,we were all put in rooms on the same floor which was great for meeting up etc.
At breakfast there was a great choice from full fry options(self service, buffet style),cereals, juices, fruit, breads etc, the meal we had in the restaurant was beautiful(i recommend the lamb shank)and the staff were extremely accomodating any time I had dealings with them, will definetly be going back.Absolutely great value for money.

Great hotel
We had a wonderful visit We were only sorry we couldn't have stayed longer
All our requests were met with a can do attitude and a smile and it made our stay so nice
There was my husband and my (almost 5yrs old) son and I. We all came away feeling well looked after and refreshed. The food was wonderful and the staff couldn't have been any better. They gave us directions, a newspaper, a chat and a genuinely welcoming feeling. They recommended the milk market down town and we enjoyed that. If you are looking for somewhere central but not in the dead centre noisy part of the city this is your place (less than 5 mins stroll to O'Connell St)

This is a well-designed modern Hotel on the northern edge of the city centre with views over one of the rivers that connects to the Shannon (depending on the room). The buffet breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the river/ Grove Island was very pleasant with friendly and attentive staff.

There is limited free parking in the basement and the hotel which is a short walk from O'Connell S (City Centre)t, St Mary's Cathedral and King John's Castle.

If not eating in the hotel there are a number of options nearby Georges Quay including the Locke Bar and adjacent restaurants.
