Stayed there recently and had to write a review, this is a gem of a hotel in the heart of limerick city. From the girl at reception to the Hotel manager and the manager in Hamptons i have to say that they were professional and competent in the way they ran the business. The food was excellent the room was excellent and the late breakfast a bonus. Just a note to say the car park for 24 hours was only 7.50 euro Will be back!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: I got a free upgrade to a junior suite what a bonus.

I forgot to write this until now. And now I can only remember the Lauras name and not the other girls in the spa! Great girls they went above and beyond well they were great anyway, we had facials and massages. My last two spas osprey and Druids glen were unless in comparison these girls know how to do their jobs and id go back just to go to them again!! Great food, buzzing bar, two restaurant had good food and service and the breakfast was huge with a good bubbly italian md. we didn't get up to much in limerick but a good wet weekend in limerick. Id book into that hotel and only leave to go home ... It's all in there
Well done!

Spent one night here in late June. The group I was staying with booked rooms and were put on the 7th and 8th floors. The rooms were fairly large and nicely appointed. First thing we did was try to get on the internet.... and I do mean try. My son then went to the executive lounge and had no problem getting wifi there but I wasn't happy it wouldn't work in the room. We spoke to the front desk about it and they said they'd look into it. We had an enjoyable time at the bar for pre-dinner drinks. Service was great and we got a great recommendation for dinner. When we returned, still no wifi. Spoke with the night manager about it and he re-booted the router to see if it would fix our problem but that didn't do it. I wasn't happy and insisted on being moved to a room that had wifi. They nicely agreed to do so but the room was not on the executive floor and not nearly as nice (smaller and there was no reading lamp next to the bed). However, the wifi did work there. So, overall I'd say the hotel was nice and the staff helpful but they've got a real issue with the wifi. And for a hotel that has an entire floor dedicated to conference rooms for business meetings, I don't think that's good. The other travelers we were with also were unable to access wifi from their rooms. And reading other reviews, clearly I wasn't alone in my findings. So, if you don't want wifi - this is a great hotel and I'd rate it higher. Parking wasn't free or necessarily convenient, either. We opted for the 20 Euro valet parking just to save the hassle.

Just back after the most relaxing hotel break ever. Staff at this hotel were so helpful without being overpowering. Fantastic breakfasts with an amazing variety. Rooms spacious and so comfortable. Wanted to bring home the bed and pillows. Pool small but very clean and adequate. Hotel in the city centre so an ideal location also. Parking not available in hotel but in a car park next door. We availed of the valet parking. Views are limited but rooms were so comfortable it hardly mattered. On the seventh floor an execitive lounge had a balcony so it was possible to have a coffee and a cigarette outside Everything was effortless in this hotel, down to a fridge being supplied in the room for medicines. Best hotel experience ever.

Room Tip: If your a smoker you can request a room on the seventh floor. Some of the rooms there have balcony...

Stayed in September 2011 for one night. Efficient and friendly staff. Modern spacious room and ensuite. Room overlooking the street but windows soundproofed. Nice coctail bar downstairs. Dinner in the Hamptons, was lovely. Have dined there before and it's always good. Very good value. Discount parking across the street. Would stay again.

The Savoy is a luxury hotel in which we were treated with personal service. Rooms are first class, both food and service are excellent in the Hampton restaurant, breakfast was high quality and varied and it all came for a very reasonable price. i thoroughly recommend the Savoy; it's special.
