Stayed her one night only, on business. Central and handy for pretty much everything in the city. parking across the road-free overnight in Dunnes Multi-storey, but must arrive after 6pm. Decent bar, with chatty pleasant staff. fast, free wifi, and a great steak restaurant next door. Cheap Business rate, and I would recommend it at that price. Breakfast buffet plus cooked to order. Very good breakfast, sets you up for the day

Hotel and room are very nice/clean. Hotel staff very helpful. My room was on the 5th floor and a couple of the nights the street noise was very loud. The lights in my room went out completely and the staff was quick to fix the problem. The Wifi was intermittent and didn't work at all the last night. The TV didn't work at all but I didn't complain about that, just let the staff know at check out. Will probably return for work again but will probably try another hotel in the area.

Wish I could write or convey the "buzz" in the Savoy Bar tonight. Love visiting here. Great cocktails, great bar staff, great service. Almost forgot to say fantastic cocktails on and off the listing. Great start to a night out

It shouldn't be something you comment upon, but the courteous, discreet and exceptionally efficient service offered by the staff in the Savoy is a rare enough pleasure these days. The hotel is not one of those soulless, sterile hotels which sprang up in recent years in Ireland. It is relatively modern, but the staff make it.
I've stayed at the Savoy several times (business visits) and I can highly recommend it.
It is in a great location and the car-parking is in the Dunnes Stores car park across the road (complimentary parking from 6pm - 8.30am if validated by the hotel reception.)
Seek a room higher up in the hotel and you will get better views and as other reviewers have commented, upgrade to the suites and you won’t be disappointed.
The rooms are pretty well appointed with good beds, TV, desk, ironing board and tea making facilities. The good ensuites also offer Molton-Brown toiletries (a small but nice extra). The TV is a bit small by modern standards but OK.
The wifi was not great in the room I recently stayed in, but one call to the concierge and a router was installed in my room within 5 minutes. Top speed immediately.
At breakfast the next morning, the service is notably discreet, pleasant and efficient. And the poached eggs were just gorgeous. The food on offer for breakfast is plentiful and varied for all tastes.
All in all, this is a good hotel which provides service in the way it ought to be.

Room Tip: Seek off road higher up in the hotel

Stayed here for one night. The check in was very efficient and professional. They had upgraded me to a very spacious room with a nice city view.

The room was very comfortable with what looked like a recently refurbished bathroom with tub and shower.

I ordered breakfast up to the room the night before and came exactly on time, great service and good value!

Generally a very good hotel. Great value too. Superb breakfast. Some rooms have balconies with river views. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance and taxi ranks are nearby. We didn't try the hotel restaurant for dinner, but we spent plenty of time in the bar. A good all round business hotel, and probably a fair location for tourists to the area.

Limerick has plenty of pubs, clubs and restaurants. The weather is not the reason to visit the area, and it is probably the wettest town in the British Isles. Plenty of lovely villages around and about.
