Omg. Poor food. Average service and poor afters. Finished our mains and the service was ok. But a restaurant that's so arrogant to also why I am only booking 5 days before.... Sorry I will never return..... The food quality doest warrant the wait........ So many better restaurants in drogheda.... Just a stones throw is the black bull which is far superior.... Cheaper and better food. The good luck and god bless.... But i won't be back..... Ever...

“Nom nom nom :)”
Reviewed 6 October 2012

Put simply, I adore cheese. And it's great to be able to go to a place and not feel like a weirdo for ordering a cheese board as a main meal. This happened, as the Eastern Seaboard don't have it on their desert menu, they have it on their main menu.

Besides this, I also the mackerel pate. Both were just divine. Filling also and priced reasonably. The others in our group also highly enjoyed their food -main courses come with two sides (most of them anyway).

Atmosphere is brilliant. I'd suggest booking as it's very busy.

Decor is fabulous -smoking room very cute.

Family friendly (judging by all the families there anyway), and they have one of those funny little signs saying "unattended kids will be given an espresso and a free puppy" -haha, love it.

Staff are super nice and attentive too. I am soooo going here again! Simply yummy!!! :D

“Lovely restaraunt”
Reviewed 30 September 2012

We went here on a Friday evening (5.30) for dinner, on booking we were told we would have to give the table back for 7, luckily this was not a problem for us on this occassion but an hour and a half could have been a problem if we had decided to get desserts as our main was very slow arriving to the table (for which we received an apology and an offer of a compliemtary drink).

The food was fab, a lot of options and quirky choices on familiar dishes. Portions are quite big so be warned!!

We'll definitely return as the food really was good.

“Fabulous food !”
Reviewed 23 September 2012

Negative points first...takes a while to work out the menu ( a clipboard with quite a few pages! ) ....and we weren't aware of the numerous specials on offer until one of our party noticed the board on leaving...waitress did not advise us!

However the food made up for the overall experience..quirky presentation with excellent portions and seafood of the freshest quality..will definately be back !
