We noticed the poster in the window for the 3-course Sunday lunch for €12, so decided to give it a go. The food was good overall, but it was disappointing that they wouldn't allow my wife to substitute hot & sour soup for the soup listed as the choices for the Sunday special. She was told that rather than a simple substitution she would have to order from the a la carte menu. Also, it's high time that restaurants stopped pretending that a bog-standard cup of tea or coffee at the end of your meal constitutes a third 'course'.
We were the only people in the restaurant, so perhaps Drogheda people are more traditionally minded than to eat Chinese food for Sunday lunch?
