Had to kill a couple of hours in Drogheda, found this place when out for a walk. Had seen reviews here, so decided to give it a try. Very pleasant and very reasonable. Was quiet so had long chats with the waitress who was very helpful. It doesn't have a licence so you cab BYOB which will also bring down costs. It has only just started opening on a Monday.

We were there this evening and everything was as good as usual .
Decor is so so and a little off putting initially but quickly forgotten as the food arrived.
We brought the kids this time and they were suitibly impressed.
Lebanese monsoof is fabulous and the kids had pasta which went down well .
Only blip was they Ran out of club orange for the kids only coke - like super valu is next door ....
Otherwise I would highly recommend and will return .

We went to Aisha's Cafe & Bistro for a girlie night out, I wasn't planning on trying the Lebanese dishes but I'm so glad I did! Four of our party decided to try the mezze option this comprised of a selection of starters and main course of either lamb or chicken, we all loved it and we be returning. The staff were friendly, helpful and explained the dishes very well to us. The decor is simple & rustic. Our meal was €25 per head for starter, main course and an extra side each so was great value.

Based on Tripadvisor reviews we decided that this would be a good venue for a staff night out we are planning in early July. We decided to try it out before confirming a booking and last night we went along with our son to see if it would live up to our expectations.

We were both keen to try the Lebanese dishes, and number one son who was playing it safe decided to go for a spring roll and a fillet steak. We asked the waitress for her advice and she was quick to recommend the Mezze option which she explained would give us a chance to try a selection of several of the starters along with either a lamb or chicken meat skewer for mains.

Every morsel we had was delicious and our son's starter and mains were both fabulous.

I have to say that anyone peeping in the front door here without taking a walk upstairs could perhaps have second thoughts about what might lie in store. But from the very moment we went upstairs the restaurant ticked every box for us.

The decor is rustic simplicity. Seats are comfortable and tables are spread enough apart to give a little bit of privacy! I was delighted to note that the music was in keeping with the restaurants theme as there's nothing worse than sampling a new cuisine while listening to the top 20!

The waitresses were both excellent and they explained everything to us about the different foods as they arrived. We were delighted with the policy on bringing your own wines/beers as this made the already good value for money even better!

Towards the end of the evening the chef (an Egyptian gentleman) came out to visit each of the tables. He was very friendly and it was nice to see him take the time to speak to everyone.

We were so full that we couldn't manage any desserts but we will hopefully try something when we return for our staff night out.

All in all I couldn't fault this lovely little bistro. If I were to make any recommendations to the staff there I would suggest that they dim the lights a little as this would enhance the atmosphere in the restaurant, especially after dusk.

I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good value varied food and I am already looking forward to returning to Aisha's in the not too distant future.
