Scholars Inn is first class all the way. From making our reservations, and them having respond to my booking mistake, to our checking out, everything here was very good. Scholars staff knows how to treat guests. It doesn't matter whether it's the bartender, the person at reception, your waiter or the guy trimming the bushes outside. They are there to serve you. The interior and rooms are also quite nice. (One minor thing, our room 115, was directly above the kitchen. So in the afternoon/evening, our room would fill with the aromas of whatever was on the menu that night. We didn't mind it, but some others might.) The bar and restaurant are also great. We ate in the bar, but you can order from the restaurant or from the bar menu. The only drawback is the town itself. It's a little downtrodden, but there are many sites nearby and this can be a great location for day trips. I highly recommend this property.
