“Lovely setting”

Nice location , quite modern , great staff especially Ann who jump started our car 3 times as well as dismantling a marquis single handedly.
Taxi into town about 8-10 euro which was ok . Had a pool table which was a bonus .
My only other comment would be that it did not entice me to stay for a drink or dinner . The restaurant was very formal with white table cloths etc but the menu didn't match. This area would be much more welcoming as a seating area for a casual bar menu / coffee or a drink . Especially since wifi didn't work in bedrooms.
Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay .

This was our first time to Westport and the Country Lodge added to our trip. I was travelling with my two young kids and my sister and her family. The staff were so friendly and the food in the bar was excellent. They have a bouncing castle in the garden for kids and this was brilliant. Our kids were on it all of the time! Rooms are very clean and spacious. Beds were huge! The views and grounds are spectacular. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families. Will definitely be back….

It was an amazing place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Our kids were very well looked after by Laura and Rita. These girls were just wonderful and we cannot wait to see them again. Our room was lovely, spacious and very clean. Views were spectacular and grounds were lovely to walk in morning or night. It was like home from home and ALL the staff really looked after us. We as a family felt well rested and throughly enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed here for one night in June this year. The hotel is a little outside Westport which was ok for us but it is a car or taxi ride in to Westport if you want to visit pubs or restaurants. Our room was fine on arrival however one of the cups did have lipstick on it. The management were very apologetic and we had a new cup immediately. WIFI is only available in reception. The staff in reception and the bar were first class and overall our stay was good, the food was very good for our family of 5. In the evening we played a round of 'footee' which is beside the hotel and a version of golf but you play it with a football. This was great fun and the breathtaking views of Croagh Patrick and the surrounding countryside will make us remember our short stay for a long time to come.
