We enjoyed our stay here. The owners are a pleasure to deal with- friendly and down to earth. Lots of help with directions, handy as we didn't know Westport or our way to Croagh Patrick! Scones and coffee on arrival, exceptional service and breakfast couldn't have been better- good choice and very tasty. We were offered a lift home if we wanted to visit the pub- we didn't but it was very nice to be offered. Ample and safe parking, Ensuite was clean and the bedroom itself was very homely and comfortable. No hesitation in giving this guesthouse a 5* rating, thank you for having us and we hope to return to stay in the near future.

Room Tip: We liked the location of our room which was at the front of the house

Definitely recommended, the hosts did everything to make our stay more than pleasant. Location was not a problem for us, you can walk right to the centre of town in about 10 minutes. The rooms (ensuite) are all very nice and clean and breakfast is excellent. The hosts are lovely people and they also gave us plenty of advice on what to see/do etc, I think they really do that extra bit to make you feel right at home. Recommended!

Máire and Declan are very helpful and kind hosts, they serve an excellent and tasty breakfast, they offered us a free lift into town (which is only a 7 min walk anyway), and they also babysat our little girl when we went out on the town for the night.
What can I say, top notch.
Thanks Máire and Declan.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room with a double and single bed - very clean and comfortable

On a recent weekend visit to Westport, we discovered his bed& breakfast house & will recommend it to friends as its clean, comfortable, good value, convenient to the railway station & the town. You would not need any transport if you travelled by train, walked 3 minutes to the house & less than 10 minutes walk into the centre of town. If following a night in town you do not want to walk back, a taxi costs €5-€7 which isn't much! The owners are very friendly & helpful, providing literature on the area as well as local knowledge. The beds were comfortable & towels were changed daily. I have stayed in many b&bs over the years and this one is one of the best.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B and would recommend it highly. Our hosts represent the best in Irish hospitality, demonstrated ably upon arrival when we were offered - and accepted - tea and homemade scones! Good food, a convenient location and correctly priced accommodation; what more could one ask for?
