Arrived in Wesport tired and hungry but not wanting a huge meal, stumbled upon Sage and had a quick read of the menu on display outside. plenty of variety and the place looked inviting so stepped inside.
No reservation so had to wait ten minutes for a table but there's a pub next door so hey ho!
My wife and I just wanted a main course but that was no problem for them, the food was very good indeed - I had rabbit stuffed with black pudding and my wife had a delicate fish dish - both excellent. The staff were great, just the right amount of attention when required.
We'll go again next time we're in Westport - a lovely town by the way - only next time we'll put more time aside for eating
