“Great Family Place”

Just back from a few days at Westport House. We took the camper and they have a really good campsite. All the usual facilities and a great camp site if your camping. They have so much to do and see and some are free attractions. They boast of having 400 acres of parkland & gardens and they dont lie. Plenty places to have an enjoyable walk. They have kiddies playground and sandpit and they are free. They have a farmyard to visit next door to the campsite. Kids and adults can play pitch & putt, watch a moview, use the games room, play table tennis and a soft play area suitable for smaller kids too. There is fishing and lots lots more to do here. its a great place to visit and we will be returning.

“Excellent Staff Attitude”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

My wife and I plus our 2 kids and 2 adult friends camped on Westport House grounds over the weekend and had a really enjoyable holiday. While the weather was really nice, which always makes camping easier, the camp site itself is beautiful nestled in among mature trees with a big sand pit in the middle which the kids loved. It is well serviced with wash-up areas, toilets and hot showers and not too big so that you never have to walk far to get to any of these amenities. However what really made the holiday and made me want to write this review was the friendliness of the staff all over the grounds. Throughout the weekend at the various different attractions and ticket desks they were always very pleasant to deal with and also up for a bit of banter.
It makes such a difference on a holiday when staff are helpful and make an effort to try and make your visit as pleasant as possible. I have been on plenty of holidays where they just want to take your money and get you in and out as quickly as possible. This is not the case at Westport House.
Special mention to Muriel at reception in Westport house who was particularly impressive in that she spent a lot of time and patience answering all the kids questions about the house. In fact as we toured the house the kids kept returning to her with different questions based on the quiz sheet they were provided with at the start of the tour. When we visited the house friends of ours had joined us so there were 6 adults and 8 kids in total!!!
The kids loved the place and we will definitely be returning to camp again in the near future.

“Great day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014 via mobile

We bought the red tickets for Westport house which included all the activities. Thoroughly enjoyed our day, went on the swans, the train, pirates adventure ground, indoor play area and the house. Great variety of activities for all ages in the family. Would thoroughly recommend going here for the day

“A Great Day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2014

We've just returned after a 4 day trip to westport with our 4 children and had a great time. We spent 1 full day at Westport House and Pirate Adventure Park. We had a great day and the children really enjoyed themselves. They range in age from 5 to 10 years of age and all 4 of them thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very clean and the rides very well organised. All the staff were more than helpful. We brought a picnic with us and there was no shortage of places to sit and eat.
