“Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, convenient to town.”
Reviewed 30 June 2013

Such obliging and friendly staff. They can not do enough for you.

Hotel is very convenient to town, only a short walk or taxi €2.00.

Magnificent modern clean rooms.

Went to the 'Grainne Mhaol' show, do not miss this one!

I am not into these type of shows and only went as the parents wanted to see it. I was blown away by the talent of each and every one of the artists.

Breakfast, great selection and the sausages, bacon and pudding was good quality, not something that you normally find in a large hotel.

In a nutshell, we will be returning. Very impressed with this lovely clean and friendly hotel.

I stayed here for one night recently. The hotel is relatively old and aesthetically is nothing to write home about. The staff were extremely helpful however at both check in, check out and when asked about dining options.

The location is good - a short walk to town and there is plenty of free parking.

The room itself was large. It was fairly dated as regards furnishings and the shower was quite old. Everything worked however and the beds were comfortable.

Breakfast was decent if not spectacular.

had a great time, receptionist Noreen was very helpful when we asked what was around for the kids, we went with friends and both us had 2 year old children. They were very child friendly and lots to do onsite such as table tennis, crazy golf and swimming pool. Food was lovely and reasonably priced and I cant express how helpful the staff were. Rooms were fab and plenty of space we upgraded to a premier room and it was very modern. We asked for late checkout and got it at no extra cost. the accommodation assistants were very friendly and eager to help.
seriously well worth a stay.

Room Tip: upgrade to a premier room especially if you have children

from the moment i picked up the phone to book the rooms to the moment we left on sunday morning i cannot complement the staff of the hotel enough. rooms very very clean and spacious and staff were so nice and helpful. The food in the restaurant although a little rich for some of the girls tastes was fab. It was a lovely experience and nicely located to the activity and the town.

We arrived at around 23:15 hours last Saturday having driven from Killarney to be asked by staff member Colette, if we would like soup & sandwiches and we were delight to accept. We had rang ahead at around 19:00 hours to say we would be late. The food was well received, and a few pints to wash it down thanks again to Colette.

When my son,my grandson & myself decided to cycle the Great Western Greenway, we based ourselves at the Hotel Westport. We had never stayed there before & we were in for a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is perfectly located with ample & secure car parking. The staff throughout we're very pleasant & helpful. The rooms were modern & spacious. The showers were as good as you can get. The food was great & the bar staff were friendly & helpful. A very good experience all round.

I am just back from a hen party here. We had an amazing night away, 22 gurls to cater for and the service was amazing. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was unbelievable, lots of extras that we hadn't ordered but defiantly enjoyed. The rooms were very clean. The only problem was that it was very warm and the room had no air con also the juice at breakfast wasn't cold. I will def be back here.
