“Lovely Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2014

My mum, two sisters and I went to Westport for 3 days on Friday 15th August and we stayed in the Wyatt Hotel. The Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Westport in walking distance of great bars with live bands playing traditional Irish music and popular music, something for everyone. There are a great mix of restaurants and shops. The town is so beautiful and the local people are friendly and polite, with a great sense of humour.

The Wyatt is comfortable and clean and the food is excellent. (great breakfast) All of the staff were very polite and professional, especially the dining room staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they make sure you will want to go back again once you have stayed there. There is so much more to tell you but I am out of space. Go look for yourself you will not be disappointed . Lovely relaxing weekend and of course there is the Guinness

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing the front square

this will be about my third review on this hotel and about my ninth visit to the hotel. Hotel is consistantly good, staff are excellent and will go out of their way to accommodate your needs, especially Barney who is just the best manager any hotel could hope to have. The hotel has a great central location, very clean, beautiful breakfast and the food and wine in jw's brasserie is gorgeous. nothing bad to say about this hotel at all and I can't wait for my next visit

Room Tip: I have stayed in many different rooms in the hotel and have no complaints with any of them even the...

My boyfriend and I had lunch here in June. The food was delicious and excellent value. Service was attentive and professional with an informal feel, we were made to feel very welcome and already look forward to many more meals here!

Staff was really nice, fantastic close-by restaurants and an easy drive to the ferry to Clare Island as well as the Coffin Ship sculpture. Room was okay - there were 2 of us and 2 beds and my bed was very weirdly shaped - high on one edge and sloped to the other. View out over a roof of mechanical items. Had a fan which helped with air flow. Excellent buffet breakfast in the morning.

Great service, great location. We stayed midweek in a family room. I would recommend Westport and the Wyatt hotel to anyone. Using tesco clubcard vouchers is not as attractive as it looks though as you can only use them against the standard room rate which is considerably more expensive than the deals the hotel offers on their website.

Husband was climbing the reek, so we booked into Wyatt for the night. Our room was facing side street so no problems with noise, very comfortable beds, crisp white linen. Hotel very clean, room so warm but we had a fan which helped. Staff very friendly and helpful. In centre of town, so convenient. Food (had lunch) was so tasty and so well presented. Many thanks to all staff for a very pleasant stay.

Nice hotel in great location in middle of town so near everything. Stayed with my family and it was really busy but we were lucky and got a cancellation. Needed extra bedding in the room and this was supplied by a lovely friendly girl who couldn't do enough for us. Room was fine and comfy. Wifi was working so kids were happy. We had a lovely meal in the bar of hotel and food and service was great. Only negative was there was a lot of noise on corridor during the night by some other guests. At one stage there was a man kicking the bedroom door opposite ours at 5.30 in the morning! Not necessarily the hotels fault but it really winds me up when other guests are so inconsiderate. The noise woke everybody up in our room. However this would ot put me off staying here again as otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Well done to all the staff in the wyatt.

Room Tip: I would ask to have a room away from noisey guests such as hen and stag parties
