Everything about our visit was perfect hotel, staff, food excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel. Deserves 5 stars! It's a hard act to follow find myself comparing other hotels to it and they never measure up.

Great value room booked for two nights, with the luxury of a jacuzzi bath (unexpected but much appreciated). Location is handy for easy access to the town and all it's amenities.Fantastic hotel restaurant is most definitely worth a visit - the food and service were exquisite. Rooms are well presented and maintained and contain extremely comfortable beds. Would most definitely recommend for a stay in Westport.

The hotel itself is well appointed with the usual trappings associated with four stars. No matter where you stay there is always a chance you will encounter drunken revellers roaming the hotel hallways in the early hours. I was woken by someone kicking my bedroom door repeatedly at 1 am. This continued at other rooms up and down the hall of the first floor. I should have but didn't call the night porter but left it till the next morning. The response from the reception staff was the typical robotic response of no one else complained so what's the problem. For 160 euros for b&b in April I expect a good nights sleep that's the problem. The canteen quality breakfast only added to the disappointment.

Dear Guest

Thank you for staying with us recently. I was sorry to hear that you were disturbed by another guest. This would not be a normal occurrence. In hindsight if you had called the night porter we could have sent up hotel security immediately. However it was not reported to us until the following morning.
We have a continental breakfast buffet, and also a breakfast menu on each table from which your choice can be taken for a hot breakfast from the kitchen.

I hope that you may consider staying again if you are returning to Westport and invite you to contact me personally should this be the case.

Yours sincerely

We needed a hotel close to the town of Westport and where my mum would be comfortable in her room and happy enough to sit on her own with a book. The Westport Plaza is slap bang in the middle of town, a short walk to shops and pubs. Plenty of parking spaces too. Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure that we were looked after but not swamped. Breakfast was very good even though all eggs were over cooked which was a tad frustrating. My mum was given a disabled room even though she didn't really need one but it made her able to have a more comfortable stay. The only downside of the hotel was that there were a lot of children allowed to run around in the evening which is great for families but not to everyone's cup of tea. All in all though, we had a great time and would definitely go back.

We had requested a quiet room as it was the Easter holidays and we got exactly what we asked for. Lovely little card and chocolates to greet use in the room on arrival. Staff were fab, nothing was too much bother without being over the top. Room was spacious and spotless, heating was a little too hot at night but better that than cold! Food in the Merlot restaurant was beautiful, we had the fillet steak and would recommend it without hesitation. We ate in the bar on the second day and the service and quality of the food was excellent. Central location and parking on site was a bonus.
