Went to the Yaadgar this summer after a visit at the Tullamore Dew Centre. What can I say, the place is absolutely lovely. Two of my companions were elderly German ladies who did not speak English very well, but the waiter didn't bother to explain everything exceptionally calm and friendly. We had the lunch menu for only 5,00€ and were impressed by the huge portions. You can chose from two kinds of meat (chicken or lamb) and vegetables, combined with one of a range of sauces. Each meal comes with rice and naan bread. We had the lamb tikka masala, the lamb curry and the vegetarian curry which tasted all grand. The waiter asked us if we liked some poppadam bread as a starter and brought a huge plate full for less than one Euro. The only strange thing I noticed was the music. In late July they kept playing the Christmas song "Silent night, holy night". However, we were rather amused by that. I do not hesitate to recommend this place for a reasonably priced lunch in a great atmosphere in Tullamore.
