I wanted a place to train and develop my riding. I stayed at Anna Harvey for a week and had three hours of riding a day. They have great outdoor facilities, but if you want to become a better rider i strongly recommend taking mainly show jumping or dressage lessons at the farm. Jumping outdoors is fun, but it doesn't provide that much training. The riding teachers were very dedicated and I left Ireland as a better rider. The stables and the inside arena are not the nicest, but the horses go outside a lot, so they seemed to have a good life in general. The rooms are simple but contain everything you need. The farm is very sheltered, so if you want to see Ireland during your stay ownership of a car is crucial. During my stay, the staff at Anna Harvey was nothing but nice to me, i felt very welcome and can't wait to go back.
