Quite town suffering from euro death but most small holiday towns are, great area for surfing, walking, cycling and just chilling in peace and quite.

easkey, gate way to the sea road and beyond, lying as it does on the sligo-ballina road. look to your right and see the mountains to your left the sea and tarry a while in the local pubs for a drink or a meal. it's there you'll soak up the atmosphere of Ireland of olden times.

If you are a surfer this is a good place to go. The waves are just the thing. There are many local hosteleries and Easky is located only a few miles of beautiful coast road from the seaside resort of Enniscrone

Go to Easkey! Cool place for surfing. Hang out at LJ's Bar, stay at the hostel or camp right on the seafront. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, nice people. I loved it and will definitely be back.

easkey is a smalll vilage where you can come and relax and also enjoy activites theres fun for all the family.surfing is a big part of Easkey and if you to take lessons in surfing then you can avail of them at a reasonable price.if you are looking for accomadation at a cheap rate i would advise you to check out the youth hostel or the caravan park these two places are situated in the village.

if you are looking for some where to eat then i would suggest the local pub the Wier or the Split Rock Takeaway. These two places avail of excellent food. You can also avail of Bingo in the local Community Centre every Friday night.yOU can also enjoy a spot of fishing. The view across the sea of Easkey is breathtaking so come to Easkey on your holiday break i came on holiday to Easkey and i really enjoyed it i definitley coming back next year
