Great beer great food. Service is friendly and has a warm atmosphere. Plenty of free parking overlooking the bay.....great place to walk off the calories after eating.

“Terrible Service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

Stopped in here for a drink a few weekends ago. Place wasn't too busy, with plenty of staff behind the bar. Failed to catch the eye of any waiting staff after 10 minutes, and after after asking 2 separate bar staff if we could order a drink, we were still completely ignored. We left after 20 minutes, with no order taken, or having ever been greeted by a staff member.

“Clean, welcoming and quirky!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor we went early as we had kiddies with us so we knew to avoid the crowds.....it was a Thursday evening our waitress was very attentive and friendly. When I read the menu I was a little deflated as I expected more variety, but lets just say what they do they do it extremly well. Fresh cod for the kids, a burger for me and Salmon for the hubby. Kids adored the fish tanks, lovely atmosphere and bill very reasonable. Started to get very busy when we were leaving will return in the near future, a real gem.

“Fast service but bit uncomfortable”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

had a nice saturday evening meal here.
as a vegetarian i only had 2 choices and 1 was a chinese chow mein and not something i would go for in an Irish restaurant. it only left me the 1 choice which was the aubergine cannelonni. I really enjoyed this. but the lack of option means i can't return unless they create a new menu or have a veggie special.

we were seated opposite the bar on a high table (rotar of a boat covered with a glass top).
Though it looked nice, it was very uncomfortable especially the edges when trying to eat. It was also a bit high and not really suitable for dining.
if you book as for a normal table just for comfort.

service was fast and everything else went well.
