I recently booked this hotel and booked a deluxe suite and i was given ROOM 601. although it was on the top floor it was definately not a Delux suite. it had a view of the air conditioning unit. Is was meant to have a Roof Top Balcony but didn't. meant to have a 48in TV but didn't, meant to have a spacious living Area but didn't it was basically a normal room with a slightly bigger bed and bathrobes

The hotel is in a good location with free parking and friendly staff. The decor of the rooms is a little gaudy and the hotel seems to be attempting trendy, hipness; while the exterior and it's position on the river is stunning, the rooms don't seem to quite match these same standards. We ate at the hotel, in the bar downstairs, and the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious but be warned the portions are huge! My main reason for giving only 3 stars is because the sound proofing between the rooms seems to have been overlooked and the guest room doors are heavy and need to be slammed to close, which made for a bit of a disturbed nights sleep. There were some lads down the hall that were making a bit of a night of it and we were woken several times and heard other guests asking them to keep it down. Think that it would be an idea to spend a bit of money on making sure the sound proofing was adequite so business travellers and revellers alike could enjoy their stay.
It is situated right in the centre of Sligo and other than the noise issue I would have given a higher rating as the decor is just a matter of personal preference.

Quaint little town, new monstrosity of a hotel (from the outside). Stopped here en route from Derry to Galway. First room we were allocated stunk of cigarette smoke, hotel was responsive and upgraded us to top floor suite. Comfy bed, new finishings, spacious room. Sligo itself was a little sleepy but the hotel was a bit of an oasis. Would recommend and stay again.

This hotel is very well located, the river view rooms are good, bed comfortable, flat screen tvs, free wifi, good staff and great breakfast. Free underground parking. Ideal for a business trip. No leisure centre and the wavy design carpets in the hallways are nausea inducing but luckily they stop at the room door. Handy to leave your car and walk around Sligo. Overall a good place to stay if you don't require a leisure centre and swimming pool.

Room Tip: River view and close to an elevator

Lovely hotel, stayed for one night on the way back from the north on a mini break. This hotel is right in the middle of everything pubs clubs and shops. The hotel was lovely bright and fresh mad colours! Free parking under ground which is a plus. Staff friendly. Did not eat in the hotel I felt it a bit expensive. Room was lovely big massive bed and clean.

We stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast included- buffet style- good food. Very modern which is a change from the other hotels we've stayed at in ireland. ( many). Great location for walking around town. Check out which pubs serve food. Some only serve lunch. Free car park below but very very tight squeeze. Pull in your mirrors when parking.
