I have eaten in No.9 cafe on a few occasions since its opening in June. It's great to see a new gastro style dining option in Waterford for lunch than the traditional offering. The menu offers a great variety - contemporary without the pretentiousness. The portion sizes are very generous, you wont be grumbling about being hungry.
More importantly I love the fact that its all encompassing for diners. As new parents, we love the fact there is ample seating for families and wide aisles for buggies and also a great play area for kids, but it also manages to not just be about catering for families and has very classy and retro feel about the place. Great for brunch too and was surprised to have been able to have a cheeky glass of bubbles now. Staff were very attentive and helpful (if anything a little bit too eager!)
Good coffee, baked goodies and desserts also.
I can highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich which is positively moorish and the eggs Benedict smothered in lots of hollandaise. We will be back!
