I just spent three nights in this hotel. It just does not work-all hype and no service.
Unfortunately it presents the worst face of Ireland - it tries to be modern , clean and sophisticated. In fact this hotel fails to function - poorly managed, total lack of response to guests questions or complaints. They just don't care so long as they have your money.
Beware of the smelliest public area toilet in chrisendom, fights in the bar , no hot water , showers built from the most interesting chrome cleverly designed but the water trickles out, poor chamber maid service - bed juts thrown together. They say they have a car park but it does not accomodate enough cars. Finally a one hour wait for a steak - yes one hour.

I stayed over the weekend with a group of girls and I have to say that I could not get over how friendly the staff where nothing was too much to ask for and even on Saturday night when the restaurant was very busy the service was second to none. The food was great, the only down fall in the hotel was that the rooms where warm. But I could live with that. Would I go back again? Without a doubt.

We were on family break, staff were very friendly and helpful but had to wait for breakfast each morning as restaurant could not fit all guests, no parking as car park was too small had to go to alternative park which was difficult with small children. Rooms were standard, don't know how this hotel is rated with 4 stars.

Booked this hotel for a night and a meal on the basis of it suppose to be of 4 star quality and the lovely photo's on the internet, when we arrived car park is terribly laid out if your driving anything big your in trouble straight away, when we got too our room the decor is very shabby, the room was not very well cleaned food crumbs all over the place and the bathroom was tiny and not of a good standard, the restaurant was nice but our deal for our meal was not processed and had to spend 20 mins with the staff trying to sort it out with 2 of them telling me, we didn't book it all and them someone from reception pops out a piece of paper saying we did and all the while my partner is sitting in the restaurant not able to order or see any resolution coming feeling very uncomfortable, the bar had no bar person it was the staff from the restaurant would stick there head in now and again to see if anyone needed anything and the noise in the rooms at night is terrible between the plumbing and been able the whole city outside the window, this has to be one of the worse hotel experiences i have ever been in both in Ireland and worldwide, if this place is a 4 star hotel God help us.

My partner and i stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. On arrival we found the car park to be pokey and terribly layed out.
We found the rooms and hotel to be spotless. The only thing was the rooms were to warm and the bed was very uncomfortable.
We had a lovely evening meal. The only thing we could fault was the duck, which was a disappointment. The buffet style breakfast was first class and had a great selection.
We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The barman could of done wit some help the night we were there and also needs to be trained on how to make cocktails correctly.
The location was not as central as stated.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

I stayed in Waterford over a Sunday and Public Holiday time and it was really lovely and quite. The hotel is quite close - no more than a 10 minute walk to the shops and restuarants in the town. At the other end of the town to the Waterford Crystal Showroom but still very easy to get to. Very modern and all I wanted. The gym was small but I just wanted a treadmill and they had that. The bar food was excellent.

Stayed for one night in this hotel with my partner. lovely hotel nicely located, 10 minutes from centre of town. room lovely and spacious. thought the staff were very friendly and nice. we ordered room service for breakfast and it was just lovely! thought it would be noisey at night but it actually wasnt. genuinely cant fault this hotel for the price we paid- 85euro for one night B&B for the two of us! parking is very tight however but cant complain! would reccomend it to others!
