Really enjoyable visit today. Great amount of history here - well laid out. Some very interesting pieces on display and great to set foot in the courtyard which hosted a tea party for JFK in 1963. Definately include a visit here if you are in or passing through the area!

All of us in the visiting party were taken aback by this beautiful place. The introduction by a relation of the past President really set the scene. To see where JFK had walked, drank tea etc, really brought back memories. Highly recommended to visit.

I can say in no uncertain terms that the best things are always found when your not expecting them and this can be said about the JFK Homestead. We picked up the signs after getting off the 5min Passage East ferry and it wasn't long till we were pulling into the small car park.

When we walked in the door we were charged a small admission fee and a very knowledgeable lady started six of us on a quick introduction of the small museum and a quick look at the family tree. I found the experience fascinating and to imagine that the great man's ancestors came from this small farming community is amazing. Then you watch video footage of him actually drinking a cup of tea and having a bit of cake in the yard and it is mind blowing. I really enjoyed the whole thing and there is definitely a point when your heart feels heavy for the Kennedy family over the years.

the homestead has been updated and refurbished since our last visit a few years ago. it was very interesting and excellently laid out. well worth a visit
