“Good night's rest”

We stayed here on arriving in Ireland from the ferry in Rosslare. The large family room, with 2 double beds was ideal for us with our 2 young children. The en suite was comfortable with electric shower. The full Irish breakfast was delicious. We thought it was a good idea to have given us a list to tick the night before so we liked what we had on our plates! Would recommend this place. Only downside it's quite far from the main road, but that is probably the price to pay for a quiet night.

We found a very welcoming and nice atmosphere, thanks to our hosts, their kids, niece (very helpful!), friends of the kids... It was really a very pleasant staying. Excellent (and large) room. Hot shower! (so rare to find in Ireland!) and a fantastic 'sun room' where to have tea, rest, talk.... .
The only negative things were a bit of smell in the room, the lack of some more large towels and WIFI (even if they let you use their computer if you really need connection).

Room Tip: Ask for the Blackstairs ;)

Even if we arrived late and delayed, both Noëlle and Ian gave us the best and warmest welcome to their home, we could have a rest after a very long trip and go to a fantastic room for sleeping until late in the morning. The B&B is located in the countryside in a lovely place, and the breakfast was excellent next morning. We felt really comfortable and our children played in the garden like if it was their own garden.

Unfortunately, we had to continue our route that day...

We happened upon this country retreat by chance- what a find! Ian & Hollie were wonderful hosts, the room was beautiful- best bathroom in Ireland. Quiet you want, quiet you get! Lovely!
Ireland's infamous (lack of) highway/road signs suggests they include detailed instruction on their web site. We were fortunate to have a lovely lady at the store on the highway offer to lead us there.

We stayed a night at this quiet B&B after our arrival via the ferry. We had such a wonderful big and clean room and enjoyed the tasty, generous breakfast that we decided to stay there again the night before we had to go back to the UK. Arriving the second time felt like coming home - the same friendly host, the same lovely room. And we even got cooked breakfast at 6:30 in the morning in order to catch our ferry! Where else would you get such a service? Thank you Ian, we had a great time!

My wife and I stayed here in May 2013 for 1 night on our way to Waterford. Our host Ian was most welcoming, the room was spacious and clean, and the house lovely and peaceful. We had a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would definately recommend this B & B.

My 87 year old mother and I recently spent four nights at Carrigbyrne Lodge, it was an excellent location from which to tour the area, with an excellent pub very close by. The family were extremely welcoming and very helpful. The accommodation was first class and the wonderful breakfast set us up for the whole day. We took full advantage of the breakfast room to enjoy a last cup of tea and chat about our day. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anybody.
