“Very good family room”
Reviewed 29 October 2012

We stayed en route to the sailing and we would definitely stay again. A very comfortable room which slept a family of 2 adults and 3 children. We had a very good breakfast and all the children's requests were catered for. Very good value too!

Room Tip: Family room very suitable for 2 adults and 3 children

We had the pleasure of staying one night after taking the ferry, easy to find, right on the main road, but quiet. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival. Great cooked breakfast the following morning, and a lovely chat with our hosts left us feeling we should stay a few nights longer. The personal touch here makes all the difference. The bed linen I would say was brand new and very pretty, the towels soft and snow white. It's the little touches that you notice. This is one b&b you shouldn't overlook.

Just returned from a great weekend in Ireland.
Took ferry over from Fishguard & stayed 2 nights at Padua. Warm welcome from owners and informative of local places to visit & eat. Great irish breakfast in the morning.
Definate use again as 5 mins from port and recommend to us.

My husband and two young boys, 10 and 7, had the pleasure of staying in the Padua in July 2012. We had booked to stay one night before catching the early ferry to Pembroke the following morning but ended up booking it for our return again so as to rest up before driving home. Super family room 1 double and three single beds. Ensuite, tv, wi-fi, tea making facilities. Wonderful warm welcome from owners Helen and Willie. Very informative about local area including directing us to beautiful Rosslare strand just a mile or two away and places to eat there - we just associated Rosslare with Port not lovely beaches. Super breaskfast be it full irish or a continental breakfast. Extremely convenitent to port - under 5 mins. At roadside en route to boat but very quiet with a lovely outlook over surrounding countrysideonce in rooms. Will certainly use this again if sailing from Rosslare and highly recommend it to friends - indeed a great stop if you plan a few days in the Wexford area.
